Sometimes life scares me. It scares me how our fate seems to be determined by the ticking down of a clock. Mine says: 000days, 010 mins, 45 seconds. 44, 43, 42, 41, 40.
I had snuck a peek at Danielle's wrist yesterday at school. 001day it had said. Same as me. I'd smiled then she looked up at me and smiled that smile that made the world seem brighter and said
"What are you smiling at?"
"Nothing"
"Ashton you big fibber tell me" she said punching me playfully in the arm.
"Fine, your cute when your nervous" I said promptly
Danielle's face turned bright red and she rested her head down on the desk.
"Stop making me blush! you know I have to present soon"
I just smiled.
I sure wished it was her. I prayed it'd be her. I longed for it to be her.
