I feel empty, as I sat there on the park bench. The rain had let up some but I was still getting wetter by the minute.
000days, 000mins, 009seconds.
My clock was about to run out. I looked up and saw people under umbrellas hurrying about in all directions. Everyone was so, so unaware. So much noise that I almost didn't hear my clock hit the wet pavement. I felt my heart hit the ground at the same time. Of course, I wouldn't have a match. Mine died awhile ago. There was no one left for me to love.
"So that's it then" I said silently.
