Remus Lupin's POV
It was 7 July 1994 when I first met Nymphadora Tonks. The Order of the Phoenix had reformed less than a month earlier, and new Aurors were always joining. I was seated in the dining room with Sirius Black, when Mad-Eye led a young woman down the hall.
She kicked over the umbrella stand, then blushed and set it right. "Remus, Sirius," Mad-Eye said. "I'd like you to meet Nymphadora Tonks."
"it's just Tonks, Mad-Eye." she snapped and I took a better look at her. She had shocking pink(!?) hair, and was rather attractive.
Sirius waved hello, mumbling something about a cousin, I merely nodded. I was speechless.
