I'm sitting at my parent's home when a message arrives by patronus. I can tell that it's from Kingsley. He tells us that there's a battle at Hogwarts, and most of the Order is fighting. I jump up, nearling tossing newborn Teddy across the room. He senses my fear, and his hair turns a sickly shade of yellow.
"Mum!" I yell. My mother, Andromeda, comes rushing into the room. She gasps when she hears Kingsley's patronus message. I hand her Teddy. "That means Remus is there," I add. "I have to go,"
"Nymphadora, you just had Teddy! You need to rest!" Mum objects.
"I can rest later. Remus needs me." I persist.
Mum says nothing but looks me directly in the eyes. "Fine," she says, giving in. I hug, and give Teddy a quick kiss on the forehead.
"I love you," I whisper, and he giggled. His hair returns to the normal turquoise blue.
I close my eyes and apparate into Hogwarts. Spells are flying between Death Eaters, students, teachers, and parents,
I race up the corridors, shouting Remus' name. I find him on the sixth floor, and race toward him, leaping into his arms.
