Its Always and Forever

Welcome Back

Everybody wants to fall in love. And I was in love. A love that I felt could never die. Sure we weren't perfect. But what relationship is? Thats until he stabbed me in the back...Literally.   

The sign read 'Welcome to Mystic Falls' and I sighed remembering what brings me here. My stupid brothers. I have not seen them in over 100 years. But for some reason I felt I needed to come back. Like I was drawn back. 

I pulled in front of the Salvatore boarding house. Turned off my car and listened. I heard both my brother arguing. Home sweet home. 

I walked in the front door trying to be as quite as possible. And hid around the corner. 

"Look Damon she is putting Elena in danger, she needs to be taking care of," Stefan raised his voice talking to Damon.

"Well then Mr. Hero Hair how are we supposed to take down Katherine," Damon retorted. 

It was my time to shine, "Hello brothers," both their heads shot towards me, "I can help if you want, with your little Katherine problem."

"Jessica what...how...what are you doing here?" Stefan said stumbling over his words.

"What I can't come to visit my twin and my older brother," I said. Damon was just staring at me and I saw something form in his eye. It was a tear.

"Jessie...I..I...I thought you were dead," Damon said scooping me up in a hug. 

"Its good to see you too big brother," I said tearing up too. Even though me and Stefan are twins me and Damon were closer.

"How are you alive?" Stefan asked me.

"Trust me its a long story, one that is not quite ready to be told yet,"I answered as I looked down not really ready to discuss that problem. They both nodded in an understanding way.

   "So then how have you been, what have you been doing?" Damon asked breaking the silence.

"Um just livin' around you know. I was married for a while but it, as you can see, didn't work out." I answered back. 

"Oh...I didn't know, sorry," Damon said. 

"No its fine...Uhh whose Elena?" I asked trying to change the subject

"She is...." Stefan was cut off by a female voice calling from the door.

"STEFAN...ARE YOU HERE?" A female voice yelled throughout the house.

"Elena?" I looked at Stefan with a cheesey smile.

"Yes...shut up," He said giving me a look.

"Hey Stefan I was wondering what...Uhh Hi i'm Elena," She stopped halfway in her sentence when she saw me.

"Hi i'm Jessica," I said not really knowing if I should say if i was their sister or not.

"Not to be rude or anything but...umm what are you doing here?" She asked a little wary of my presence.

"She is our sister," Damon said handing me a drink which smelled of bourbon.

"You never told me you had a sister," Elena said looking at Stefan, "just like you never told me about Damon, do you have another sibling you didn't tell me about!?"

"Well Stef it seems you got this under control...so I'm just gonna go," I said setting my now empty glass down.

Damon suddenly sped right in front of my path, " Wait, where are you staying?".

"I was just going to get a hotel in town." I answered confused.

"You don't actually think I'm going to let you stay at a hotel, do you?" Damon said looking at me, " Your staying here, with us."

I smiled up at him, "Thanks D."

"No problem little sister, now lets get out of here before we get wrapped up in they're argument." He said referring to the angry couple in the living room with his cheekey grin plastered on his face.

"Yea, lets go." We walked out the front door. We got in Damon's car and he stared rambling about some drinking buddy he wants me to meet. And as I look at my brother, I think about how good it feels to be back with them. But also how I feel I'm missing something. Somthing that will make my heart complete.
