Chapter 17

~Emma~

"Why would he want the heart of the one you love most?" Hook asked while we were walking back to the apartment.

"I don't know.." I said reading the ingredients over and over again.

"Who do you love most?" Hook asked.

I stopped in my tracks.

"Jocelynn..." I said then Hook glared at me like he knew what was going on.

" Thats it! He wants Jocelynns heart! Once he gets her heart she can never leave him. She'll turn exactly like him. She'll do anything he asks....... even if that means killing her family." He said looking down.

He was right, Pan was powerful enough to do that.

"We have to find her. We don't follow this map. We just find her by ourselves!" I said throwing the map on the ground.

Suddenly it disappeared.

"I wouldn't do that If I were you." I heard Pan say behind me. I turned around to see him holding the map in his hands.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Don't you see Emma, I'm the eyes and ears of this town. In about two weeks it will be the New Neverland!" He said smirking.

"What do you mean?" Hook asked.

Pan laughed then said,
" Don't you see, when Jocelynn goes bad. She'll have enough power to rule this whole city with me! We'll put a curse on this city making you all slaves. But since you mean something to her you all will die."

"No! She would never do that!" I yelled as he disappeared into thin air.

I fell to my knees crying, Hook came to me and tried to help me up.

"She'll never go bad... She's to strong." He said.

"What if she does!?" I yelled in anger and sadness

"She won't! If she's anything like you she's smart and strong. Pan can't fool her."

I looked at him knowing he was right. We continued walking back to the apartment. On my way back I was thinking

'Hooks wrong.. He has to be.. Jocelynn has fallen for Pans tricks, that's why we're in this position.'

When I got back to the house I went upstairs to Jocelynn, she was still up. She looked furious, what was wrong?

"What's wrong?"

She turned to me her eyes full of Darkness.

"What's wrong? What's wrong? Why are you threatening my family!? You are just using me aren't you! So ill stay with you and rule New York! I swear if you hurt my family... Ill... Ill kill you!" She yelled.

Shit, I looked at the mirror I had put a spell on to show me her. She must of wanted to know where I was and saw the whole thing. I had to get her on my side again.

"I would never hurt them! Cause hurting them would be hurting you, and that's the last thing I wanna do! And yes I do want you to say with me forever! I love you Jocelynn!"

She looked at me calming down then walked over to me and was so close to my face, I just wanted to kiss her so bad. I was about to until she said.

"You don't know what love is Peter.... Your just a lost boy. I loved you, but you didn't love me. All you did was use me."

I was shocked that she said that to my face.

How brave.

She started to walk away when I yelled to her.

"Jocelynn!"

She stopped in her tracks and turned around with a sad look on her face.

I walked up to her and cupped her cheeks with my hands and kissed her. She pulled away at first but I wasn't letting her go. Not this time. She finally stopped and started kissing me back. She wrapped her arms around my neck while I put mine around her waist. She was pulling my hair while I was pulling her closer. We hadn't had a moment like this in forever. When it was actually real. It felt good but it hurt.

I was falling in love with her.
