Lunch had just finished before I realised that I was late for math class. I ran to my locker, grabbed my math book. While running I accidentally ran into a tall, ripped dude. I loooked up and saw that it was Derek. He was wearing a tight white shirt that showed of his huge pecs, and sixpack. I looked into his eyes totally forgetting that the book fell on the floor.

- I'm so sorry about that, I didn't mean to run in to you like that

Derek:- It's no big deal, he said, and picked up my book. He handed it over to me and I "accidentally" put my hand on his. I looked into his beautiful blue eyes, waiting for him to remove his hand, but he didn't. After a legit 10 seconds he removed his hand, and winked at me, and walked away. I blushed and went into math class.

1 hour later

I went out of the classroom and looked at the clock in the hall. It was 12:30 in the afternoon. I was about to put my books in my locker when I heard, the principal speak into his microphone. He said.

- Attention everyone, school is over, because there is a rat problem in some of the classrooms.

Yes I thought finally school is over. I had no homework so I went to the beach. When I arrived at the beach, I saw something in the sand. It was four blue crystals in a golden colored rock. I picked up one of the crystals and lifted it up in the light, to see it better. The light went right through it and a blue light covered me. I felt a tingly feeling inside my hands. All of the sudden a fireball was in my palm. I panicked and it got bigger and went from orange to blue. Cool, I thought. I picked of the three other ones and put them against the light. A huge blue blast hit me from the sky and knocked me to the ground. I looked up at the sky and the lights went dark.

A few minutes later

I woke up again in my bed, and I felt better than ever. I thought: Wonder what powers I have. I opened my hand and focused really hard, and my phone got sucked into the palm of my hand. I looked at my phone and saw that I was going to be late again. Crap. Picking clothes is the one thing I hate but now I'm going to be late, I said. I suddenly ended up at school wearing my clothes, right in front of the door. I looked around, and luckily no one saw me. I took out my phone from my pocket and saw that I was right on time, and that was when I realised that the crystals from yesterday, gave me superpowers. I walked into the hall and right into physiques class. I put my backpack on the floor, and our teacher Mr. Finkelson, said that we had to work in pairs. I looked around and saw Derek who was surrounded by girls, who wanted to be his lab partner. So I figured, if I mad them sweat, their make-up would be ruined. I placed my hand in the air, with my palm facing against the girls. I concentrated as much as could, to heat up their bodies so that they would sweet. After a couple of second Alisha's make-up started running, and so did Bianca's, Daniella's, Selena's, Audrey's, and Judy's make-up. Derek looked at their faces, and began to laugh, they then left and I saw that Derek was all mine. I took my courage and walked over there and said.

-Hey Derek

-Hey Dani, Derek said, and smiled at me

-So how is it going?, I asked, thinking it was the stupidest question ever to ask.

- I'm great, and you?

- Yeah me too, nothing much you know

- Yeah, I saw how you stood up for that nerd the other day, that was really brave of you man, he said.

- Thanks, well I just did what felt right, I said while blushing over that such a cute guy actually complemented me.

- So, do you have a lab partner?

- Nope, I said, and you?

- Me neither

- Do you wanna be my lab partner?

-Sure, Derek said.

- Awesome.

I walked over to his desk and sat on my chair. The teacher explained, what we had to do, and also told us that, the assignment was worth 50% of our grade. Derek and I made our solution and poured it into one of the test tubes. The heat was suppose to change the color of our solution if we did it right. After a few minutes our solution didn't change. I had to do something. I tried to form a gentle wind to blow Derek's papers of the table, but the wind was way to hard, and it pushed all of his books on the floor. I quickly heated the solution with the palm of my hand. It started to bubble, and it changed color. Mr. Finkelson came by and gave us an A+.

Yes, we said simultaneously, and gave each other high fives. Since we passed, we were allowed to leave the classroom early. Great, I thought, now I had 30 minutes spare time, with Derek. But I couldn't do it to Ross, after all the things he had done for me. I went down to the restroom and Derek followed me in. I began to wash my hands, since we had just delt with chemicals. Derek washed his hands too. As I went out the door Derek pushed me into a stall and locked the door. He put one arm around my waist and another arm on the wall, and pinned me against it. He leaned in for a kiss, and I just lod i happen. He gently kissed me and pulled back. I like you a lot, he said, and leaned in for more. He kissed me a bit harder, and I let out a moan.
