Coming Out

My advice for coming out is to, firstly, make sure it is safe to do so. Think about these questions :

Are you sure you want to tell this person ?

Are you sure they will keep ur sexuality a secret ?

Are you sure they won't hurt you ? - If so come out in an open area.

If ur coming out to ur parents, will they kick u out ? - If so perhaps come out once u have found a new home and a descent job.

Now you should start to continuously drop huge hints to the person who u r coming out to, for instance, continuously talk about lgbt+ rights or read lgbt+ magazines near them.

Next, come out. Simply say (for example) 'I'm (ur sexuality)' and explain that u did not chose to be ur sexuality and that ur sexuality is only a small part of ur personality and how ur no different from them.
