--------------------Levi watched. He just, watched. He watched the quiet male as he shifted his eyes to every little detail Levi wouldn't have noticed if it wasn't for him. He watched his every move. For they were interesting. The said male pulled his jacket over his mouth without a noise. He breathed through his nose closing his eyes resting his head on his book. Levi always seemed to be in a trance when ever he was around the cadet. His brain would become fuzzy and all he could think of was him. He would become nervous and scared for when the other male went on a mission, but there was nothing to be worried about. He always came back without a scratch. Who was Levi to worry about such an exceptional cadet? Sometimes Levi wondered why his eyes were so bright, even though he never spoke. Until, he one day grew curious and asked Hanji. He's deaf. That makes more sense. That never stopped Levi from getting that feeling when he ever thought, watched, or was near him. At various moments in time he would slow down by his room to hear his nightly hum, which was the same tune each night, It would help Levi sleep. He stood up and closed his book. Placing it back on the shelf. He grabbed another book, and began reading that. Levi watched his eyes flicker from every little word written on the tan page.
Levi had a sudden burst of confidence, he sat up straight in hair chair, then slouched down. He looked down at the table he was sitting at. He felt a small hand on his shoulder. He looked back. It was him, how did he get there so fast? He moved his hands in certain shapes and letters.
'Do you read sign language?'
Levi nodded. He once grew so curious that he read a whole book on sign language. He always wondered how it felt to be deaf, not to ever hear your voice ever again. Not to ever speak any good or evil.
'Hi. I'm (M/n).'
Levi turned around in his chair, and sat up tall. He thought about the signs. Then made them appear.
'I'm Corporal Levi--'
(M/n) waved him off, then smiled brightly. He walked towards the chair next to Levi and sat down right in front of him.
'I know who you are. Your my inspiration.'
Levi felt his heart clench. His inspiration? Levi? No. It was more like the other way around. Levi scooted his chair closer.
'Its more the other way around.'
(M/n) tilted his head, with his thick hair following a second late. He looked so innocent.
'How so?'
Levi took a deep breath, the explanation would be long and he didn't know that much. He most likely forgot it all in the time being.
'Can you read lips?'
Levi tapped his lips. (M/n) only simply nodded in response as he sat still patiently waiting for Levi to speak. The Library lady walked towards them. "I'm going to leave this lamp on, but I have to shut the lights off, stay safe." Levi nodded watching the elderly walk out. The light shut off. Levi turned back to the beautiful male.
"Your everything. Your life. Your death. Your the one I look up to the most. Because after all you've been through your eyes shine like the sun on a summer day. You breath, yes. But sometimes you sink. You may float but that's rare. Sure. That's what you think. Life is just a huge pile of good and bad, but not to you. Life is more than that. Its the people. Its every little thing. It might be a speck of dust within millions. You notice every little thing. The big. The small. The weak. The strong. You notice it all. On days your down, you go to room. You lock the door, and you feel like crushing everything. And you can. But you don't. So you sit down. You think about the days. The good moments. And you hum a song you once sang. That's why--"
By this point (M/n) was in tears.
They both mouthed.
'I love you....'
--End--
I love this.....
