She was complete.
She was completely broken.
Her shattered pieces razors against my threadbare quilt the tattered pieces hanging in tiny strings tiny strings playing my heart impossibly plucking my strings a string quartet bowing across my body in the infinite expanse
a heart monitor that would beat beyond me what about love and you and I ellis kory why does the world spin on
beyond all of us
we are icy burning in the whirl of words that tear our souls from our bodies we are screaming we are free we are reaching beyond words handprints on my path they are so large larger than you larger than me larger than life
you carry on dancing along a rainbow ridge teetering off the edge balancing on a needle point injecting breath into you a steady rhythm that jumps when I try to pull you down a small arc across your forehead golden wheat in the baked summer sun your eyelids fluttering trying to speak
your windows are shut sealed tightly closed someday
I hope they will fly open
a vengeance against the sleep that left you
unfinished
