Kamryn's pov
I stared out the window of the cab.
It was pouring outside.
The cab stopped in front of the cafe.
"thanks for the ride sir" I smiled.
"welcome, miss your total is 18 dollars" he grinned.
I handed him a twenty.
"keep the money" I smiled.
"have a great day"
"you too" I smiled running off into the cafe.
I ordered an expresso with extra cream, Carmel frappe and two cinnamon rolls.
I sat down and took out my comic book.
I read a bit till they called my name.
Once again I got up to get the food.
I left the cafe, food and drink in hand then hauled a taxi.
After I got home I sat my food on my counter.
"honey I'm home" I said smiling to myself as my room mate and my puppy came to view.
"hey, Kam" Paxton said from the couch.
"I got you breakfast" I said handing her a cinnamon roll.
"where's my coffee" she questioned.
"up your ass, jk it's on the coffee table next to you" I laughed.
I opened my bedroom door.
Someone came up from behind me and hugged me.
I turned on my light.
I tried my best to see who it was.
The person let go.
I turned around.
Only to reveal my geeky best friend.
"Grant" I squealed hugging him.
"Kam" he chuckled wrapping his arms around me.
"it's been so long" I stated letting go of him.
"Yea like two years" he replied.
"you remember where I live" I asked.
"never forgot, I have your key still" he chuckled.
"well get out of my room real quick so I can get dressed" I said pushing him out.
"okay" he said.
After I got dressed
I walked out of my room and sat down at my kitchen and started eating my breakfast.
"are you wearing tap shoes" Grant asked.
"maybe" I smiled.
He shook his head while chuckling.
"how long are you visiting" I asked.
"a few weeks since I'm filming here" he said.
"awesome" I grinned.
I stared up at him.
He looks different, a good different.
I know that he's my best friend and has been since highschool but I think he's fine asf.
He makes preteen girls swoon, for crying out loud.
"wanna go to the park" he asked.
"is that even a question" I scoffed.
He grabbed my hand and lead me outside.
