Prologue
On the planet Gorgon XII, there is the Kingdom of Zethina. Zethina is the largest continent, one third of the planet's size, and there, there is peace. There are no wars. The planet is filled with many races but the most powerful and dominant are the Islie. The Islie are a race that possess powerful magic and physical ability. They are supremely fast and strong, and they rule over the humans, the lesser beings of the planet.
Long ago on Gorgon, there was a terrible evil, a monster called the Ancient. The creature had come into being at the beginning of creation, arising from the world's darkest energy. It took on the form of a dark abyss with red, fiery eyes. It held immense power and with it almost destroyed Gorgon. The world was in ruin for many centuries. Along with the centuries, the Ancient disappeared. It seemed as though it were truly gone.
Many centuries later, the king and queen of Zethina had their first child. A beautiful baby girl named Sadukoo. Sadukoo's mother, the queen, was hiding a secret from the world. A secret the queen herself didn't know about. She was an Ancient vessel. The creature used vessels to live within and at a time in the vessel's life, the monster would take over full control of the vessel's body. The vessel could not contain the full power of the Ancient for long. The damage would be done...and the vessel would die. The queen died after giving birth to Sadukoo.
The baby princess was different. This young child would be the most powerful being in existence. For the Ancient lived within her...but Sadukoo controlled the Ancient.
