Chapter 1: Vessel

It's midnight, you were wearing a black cloak with the hood over your head, and a yellow undershirt, you had a gray revolver holstered to your right leg and was walking through a dark forest.

Suddenly two Beowolves jumped at you in an instant you pulled out your revolver and shot the two creatures in the head and killed them instantly.

You: "Well that was easy."

You said as you continued to walk through the forest.

You: "6 years huh? It's been that long."

You told yourself as you finally exited the forest. You were now standing outside the forest in a hill as you looked at the city of Vale.

You: "I'm here..."

You muttered in a low voice as you sat down for a while, admiring the view of the city at night.

You were sitting in a bench in the town plaza of a town in the mountains of Sanus. It is called Ion and this small town specialized in making weapons that uses a system called the 'Expansion Energy Emission System'. These weapons utilize dust to 'expand' weapons; sticks turn into knives, knives turn in swords, swords turn into great swords. It was a unique design. The town was not that big but it was lively, humans and faunus alike are at peace, it is your home.

???: CAL!

A voice calls you. You turn to where the voice came from and you saw two figures, the first was a black haired girl with red eyes and wolf ears, and the other was a white haired boy with green eyes.

You: "Oh, Hey Nova! Hey Rex!"

You said and waved at the two, gesturing them to sit beside you.

Nova: "Man we've been looking for you, where have you been?"

Nova said as she sat beside you.

You: "I was just out for... uh.. a walk"

Rex: "Don't you mean you were playing around in the woods and skipping training again?"

Rex countered as he sat beside Nova.

You: "Haha... maybe."

You said sheepishly grinning at Rex.

Nova: "You know Arnou is looking for you right? He said you DID skip your training again."

You: "W-what..."

You replied, clearly guilty.

Rex: "Anyway, we came to find you because Arnou said he finished calibrating your new weapon."

Your eyes widened as you heard what Rex said.

Rex: " I mean you must be crazy. An expansion system without aura drain limiters, that's jus-"

He was cut of by you standing up.

You:"YeahIknow,Thanksforthatgonnagonow,Bye."

You said in haste as you started to run towards a large gray warehouse, it was the town's armory

Nova: "I-idiot! Wait for us!"

The wolf faunus said as she ran to catch up with you with Rex on her tail.

Rex: "Come on guys! I-I just ran a couple to get here... Give me a break!"
