A Not So Good Reunion

Drew POV

"mom I'm 21 and Alex is 16." Her eyes widened in shock. Her jaw dropped and I saw tears forming on her eyes. My dad shook his head trying to process what I just said. Before either one of them could say something I walked towards the car. I slammed it shut once I got in.

I turned and saw Alex looking out the window tears streaming down her face. I looked out the window and saw our parents talking to eachother. Mom was in tears and dad was trying to comfort her.

"Alex?" she sniffed.

"What?"

"Are you okay?" she turned to me.

"Yes Drew. I'm perfectly okay with hugging two strangers. I'm perfectly okay with them making us leave with no explanation. I'm perfectly okay with everything going. I'm perfect Drew. Couldn't have been better."

"Alex you know why-" she cut me off.

"Don't defend them. You knew why we had to leave but I didn't. I was four! Drew! Four!" I sighed. I was about to say something when the doors opened and income our parents. Mom turned to us and gave us a sad smile.

"You guys ready?" I turned to Alex and saw she rolled her eyes and looked out the window. I sighed and nodded.

"You know we're glad to have you two back? We can be a family again. Things can go the way they should've been." I turned and saw Alex giving them the hardest glare ever. Uh-Oh.

Alex POV

"Seriously? You think you can just come back into our lives and want things to go back to normal? No. Things will NEVER go back to normal."

"You've been spending too much time with that Stomberg kid. I don't want you near him. He gave you an attitude. No daughter or son of mine will have an attitude. You are to stay away from him. You used to be so sweet and innocent-" I looked at my dad and cut him off.

"he's my boyfriend, and even though we didn't really get along in the beginning he's been there for me more than my so called "parents" were. He actually says happy birthday. He knows things about me that I'm sure neither of you two know, and I'm not that sweet innocent little girl anymore! Okay? I grew up. Without parents might I add." Who do these people think they are? They think that things can go back to normal after twelve years? That is NOT going to happen, and they want me to break up with Wes? Yeah I don't think so.

I looked out the window not caring about anything at the moment. The only thing on my mind right now is Wes. After about an hour the doors opened.

"guys we're here." I opened the car door and saw we were in front of this huge building pretty much in the middle of nowhere. I noticed behind it was a forest woods sort of thing. Good. Now I can take a walk.

Me and Drew walked in behind our parents. When we entered all eyes were on us. They all had smiles and welcomed us.

"Welcome home Alex and Drew." a lady and a man came towards us and hugged us.

"Who are you?"

"Alex be nice." I rolled my eyes.

"You don't remember us?"

"I left when I was four. I'm sixteen now. Do the math." they sighed.

"We're your aunt and uncle. Martha's parents."

"hi." they sighed.

"sorry for her attitude. She's not taking this well." they nodded.

"we understand." I wasn't paying much attention to what they were saying. I just really wanted to see one person. Wes.

Wes POV

After Mr. and Mrs. Chadwick left the three of us went to the kitchen to get some snacks. I can't believe Alex and Drew are finally coming home. I just hope nothing bad happens on their way here.

"Sorry for her attitude. She's not taking this well." I looked at Keats and M and they stopped what they were doing.

"that sounds like Drew." I nodded at Keats in agreement.

"C'mon lets see if it's them." they nodded and followed me. We went to the front and saw Alex and Drew. Alex turned to us and her eyes lit up.

"Wes!" she smiled and ran to me. I caught her in my arms and spun her around. I set her down and kissed her. "I missed you so much. I love you." I told her in between kisses. She smiled.

"I missed you, and I love you too." I heard M aww.

"Aww perfect picture moment." we laughed. We pulled apart and she went to hug M. Me and Drew bro hugged.

"I missed you man." Drew smiled.

"missed you too bro." I turned and saw Keats and Alex hugging. She had tears in her eyes. They pulled away from the hug and Alex came and hugged me. I kissed the top of her head and she blushed.

"what did I say about getting near my daughter?"

Alex POV

We turned and saw my father standing there with his arms crossed.

"Alex I told you that I didn't want you near him also."

"Excuse me but I will GO near whom I WANT, YOU WILL NOT TELL ME OTHERWISE." I said and pulled Wes with me to the kitchen I'm guessing.

"Alex you shouldn't have said that to your da-" I cut him of with a kiss. I've missed this so much, he asked for entrance and I didn't deny it. We were probably like that for a while until my dad comes in the room and yells. Gee thanks for ruining the moment.

"ALEXANDRA CHADWICK YOU ARE TO GO TO YOUR ROOM THIS MOMENT. YOU ARE BAND FROM SEEING THIS BOY EVER AGAIN. HE HAS CHANGED YOU AND I DONT WANT YOU TO BE THIS WAY!!!!"

Okay that's it. Here is what I've been holding back since I've seen them.

"REALLY, I'M BAND FROM SEEING THE ONLY PERSON THAT I WISHED TO SEE FOR SO LONG. YOU KNOW WHAT I'VE NEVER MET YOU, OR EVEN KNOW YOU. YOU CAN'T TELL ME WHAT I CAN AND CAN NOT DO. YOU MAY BE MY "FATHER" BUT YOU NEVER RAISED ME. YOU DONT KNOW ME OR ANYTHING ABOUT US, MEANING ME AND DREW! DO YOU KNOW MY FAVORITE ANIMAL, COLOR, WHAT I EAT, WHAT I'M ALLERGIC TO? I DOUBT IT."

"Alex we didn't want you to be inv-"

"DON'T COME AND TELL ME THAT IT WAS TO KEEP ME SAFE. "DAD" I WAS KIDNAPPED MORE THAN ONCE, I THINK IT WAS 3 TIMES. I'VE ESCAPED ALL OF THEM WITH THE HELP OF MY REAL FAMILY. M, DREW, KEATS, AND MOST IMPORTANTLY WES!"

With that said I walked out of the room with Wes on my trail. Wait I don't know where to go. I stop and turn to look at Wes,

"Hey um.... yeah I don't know where to go."

"Haha well I don't know where your room is I only know mine since I never left it until I heard you were coming."

"Well then let's go to your room. Nothing is going to happen we will just lay there enjoying the moment."

"Follow me.

We went inside a room and he was right it looked like the person staying in that room didn't leave for days. We went to his bed and talked about the things we loved of each other. I was enjoying his presence and finally fell asleep in his arms. Wow this is the first time I've ever slept in his arms and to tell you the truth it was the best sleep I've had.

max pov

when I saw a black car arrived I left without being noticed. I'm pretty sure they forgot the took me. I didn't go far but I heard Alex getting mad and slammed the door shut.

now to start a new life, get job and everything.
