Well, school was tiring, as usual, and i was so excited to go home. I could go see my puppy, take a nap, have a snack, and my favorite part of the day, relaxing time. This is when i watch TV. I took bus number 12 home and plopped myself down on the couch. I sank down into it and laid my head down on the silk soft pillows. Right as i reached for the TV remote, Heather ran in the door and snatched it from my hands. She practically sat on me as she turned to channel 45. I smacked her hands and she shrieked like a cat when you step on their tale. I grabbed the remote and ran to our room. Shutting the door, i heard the sound of shrills and a big gruff voice. My dad was home from his business trip.

My dad Lucas was finally home. We had not seen him in about 3 weeks. He went to India, China, Australia, and England. My favorite part about dad being home was that he brought home gifts for each me, my sister, and my baby brother, Ross.

As my dad walked through the door, my sister had ran into him, jumping in his arms with tears of joy running down her face. Her mascara smeared as she cried. I walked out in the living room to see was all the cying and laughter was about. It felt so good to see dad for once. Moose came and greeted dad with us as well as mom. She came running in from outside with her hands all covered in dirt from gardening. She wrapped her dirty arms and hands around dad and gave him a big kiss on his cheak. Dad was speechless, and he had a reason why.

I noticed that dad was a bit down because when he gets home, he is always smiling. This time, he showed no expression. He then dropped the horrible knews that he had just heard.

Apparently, daddy was going to be gone for another month or two, working with his friends around the world with projects. I was confused but i understood that that was his job. I got a Little teary-eyed but i knew he would be back soon. He packed up his stuff and headed back out the door for another business trip.
