A Devil Hidden In An Angel

Chapter 8

It was night time when they finished chatting and decided to leave the shop. Soojung kept her silence after saying goodbye to the others. She walked passed their apartment and went to Han River where she usually daydream and reflect.

“Aah. It’s so nice to spend time with myself.” Soojung said.

Soojung sat quietly near the water. After debuting she rarely have time to relax especially because of the pressure that was put to them as an SM group and the pressure given to her as Jessica’s dongsaeng. She appreciated the nice view of the Han River. It was dark, the colorful lights coming from the bridge and buildings gives glow to her face. With this beautiful view she can’t help but reminisce the time she spent there before her debut.

“Yah! What are you doing there? It’s late already.” Soojung asked while putting up some aegyo.

“I was waiting for you.” Myungsoo answered.

“Wae? Want to sit for a while”

They sat on a bench next to each other.

“It’s just.. You’ll be debuting soon and we might not be able to meet each other often.” Soojung’s face lit up when he saw his boyfriends face shy and jealous.

“Uhm..What’s with the drama? Nothing will change even if I debut before you.”

“You look so excited.”

“Not really. I hope you can debut soon too, so that we can see each other even at work.”

“Liar. It’s written all over your face. EXCITED. Don’t even think about looking to other guys when I’m not around.” Myungsoo shyly said again.

“Oh. So that’s your real issue here.I don’t know about that.” Soojung said, looking at his boyfriend’s reaction. Waiting for him to get jealous.

“Mwo?Yah. Jinjja! Jung Soojung!” Myungsoo said feeling super angry right now.

Soojung can’t stop admiring Myungsoo’s cute reaction.

“Yah! You really look cute when you’re jealous.”

“Wah! I really don’t understand you.”

“Oppa. I’m actually scared.” she said with straight face looking far. Myungsoo looked at her and suddenly felt the fear inside her.

“There’s nothing to be scared. You’ll be popular and successful. And someday we’ll stand on the same stage.” Myungsoo said to her cheer up.

“It’s not about that.”

Long silence surrounded the two of them.

“I’m scared about what might happen to us when I debut. Even though I always say that nothing will change, I know that there will be changes. I might lose time for you.” She became sadder as she talks about it. Myungsoo held her hand.

“You don’t have to worry about it. I will always understand. No matter what happen oppa will never leave you. I promise you that. I will do everything so that I can debut too.”

 

“Promises.” Soojung whispered as she stood up.

Soojung walked her way home feeling a bit tired and lonely. She was startled when someone called her.

“SOOJUNG!”
