Mark walked down the road. He was kinda annoyed to had to walk his dog. He would rather be playing video games than be walking chica. But at least it was warm out*

Jack sighed laying in the sand,deep in the ocean ,alone -well no,he had a stingray swim over him ,and a few octopi,,but that was the same old same old,,he hadn't really been to the surface ever,he sat up ,everyone was scared to go up,to many hadn't come back ,he sighed and looked down ,fuck it . He could survive it ,he shook the octopus off his tale "shoo shoo yeh bastard !" He huffed rubbing his tail looking at the marks left on it ,he sighed and started swimming up determined . He soon reached the surface and looked around ,the find on his face folded up ,he looked around humming ,running his hand through his hair ,he swam to the shore ,his green and blue tail swimming quickly ,he soon stopped and climbed onto a roc and sat there ,letting the waves crash against him . He soon turned and saw a human and stared at them tilting his head ,"what the hell is that,," he hadn't seen one ,only heard stories about them and how horrible ,and violent they were ,,,this one didn't look violent.

Mark laughed as chica licked his hand "hey" he smiled and picked up a sick throwing it for chica who ran after t barking excitedly. Mark continued smiling as he walked. Something shiny caught his eye as he walked, a steady breeze blowing some hair into his face. He wiped it out of his face and looked in the direction of what caught his eye. He saw what looked to be a person by the water. A good looking one of that.

He smiled and froze as he looked to him ,his face heating up and he wasn't to wave trying to hide his fins,but the crashing wave knocked into the water,and he cut his tail on the rocks he curled up slightly in pain trying to see the cut. Jack hissed in pain trying to touch it.

Mark stayed watching in surprise as the what appeared to be young man was knocked from the rock he was sitting on. It seemed strange. How he moved, it was a bit off to him. He was completely zoned in on the handsome guy, so when chica whined and nuzzled his hand trying to get his attention it made him jump "oh. Chica. Come on I think he's hurt" mark said as if making an excuse to his parent
Chica tilted her head to the side as Mark started down the bech towards the other person. She let out another whine as she dropped the stick and bounded after him

Jack despite the roaring pain in his tail swam up to the surface and held onto a rock ,his fins fanned out ,his webbed and clawed hands gripping onto the rock ,he looked at the blood in the water and paled "oh fuck,,"

Mark broke into a run down to the water. He stopped close enough to get a glimpse of a tail. He gasped backing away as the memories came rushing back. He didn't know if he wanted to be involved with another one of these creatures. Not after what happened to the last one. But when he saw the blood in the water he couldn't stop himself from trying to help him

Jack shakily looked at him and backed away trying to hide,from him,even though he was ,fuckin gorgeous,he couldn't ,what if this one was like the humans he heard about ,,trying to sell him ,or kill him and use his tail for food. He looked at him shakily his fins fanned out ,a sign of warning

Mark crouched down putting his hands out "hey it's okay. I won't hurt you" he looked into the eyes of the boy in front of him. He looked about the same age and his eyes... oh his eyes where beautiful. Chica glared at the creature and raced to marks side barking protectively. "Shh!" Mark hushed her and pushed her back "no chica" he calmed. Mark turned back to the boy.

Jack backed away more as the four legged -demon barked at him and he hissed back slightly . He calmed though as the human talked to him ,he gazed up at him and swam closer to him and hissed in paina rn held onto the nearest rock ,not that able to move as much as he would of like to

"Let me help you" Mark held out his hands "chica won't hurt you"
Chica sat back sensing the so called threat had passed. She turned her head to scratch her ear clearly unimpressed with the situation

Jack nodded and carefully to the others,soft hands and held on and tried to get up out the water

Mark griped his hands and helped pull him out far enough that the waves wouldn't get to him anymore. "Are you alright?" Mark eyes raked the other boys chest before landing on a deep cut to the mermans tail

Jack got a better look at the cut and gripped the rock " oh fuck,," he mumbled his Irish accent danced through his words. He felt abit dizzy

"I'm Mark. What's you're name?" He questioned as he pulled off his shirt and wrapped it around the cut. "I have a pool at my place. I can't really help very much here but I have a first air kit at home" _he pressed his hands to the wound.

His eyes widened at the others figure,blushing brightly,"j-jack" he stammered out . Flustered,his fins fanned out again . He hissed in pain as the other pressed on the wound but nodded "a-as long as there's water"

"Yeah. You ever seen a pool before?" he chuckled softly. He reached his arms under jack and lifted him into the air with a grunt of effort but he knew he could carry him. His house was not far at all.

Jack shook his head and yelped as he was lifted holding on tightly scared that he was gonna be dropped or eaten by the beast-chica as it was named. He looked up at Mark shyly and rested his head on his shoulder ,relaxing into the others muscled body.

mark felt himself smile as he held jack close trying to make him feel safe as he walked towards his house. Chica let out a bark of frustration and picked up her stick trotting along after the two boys.

Jack held on relaxing slightly and gazed at the others neck tracing it,amazed by this creature, no fins, no gills ,it was absolutely astonishing
