Mark fiddled with the keys before pushing the door open. He kicked it closed after chica came in and walked through to the other side of the house to where the back yard with the pool would be.

He looked around in awe ,curiously. He soon looked to the pool,waving his tail in excitement,as he kinda needed to breathe -badly

Mark knelt down at the water and let jack fall gently into the pool "I'll be right back. Be a good girl chica"
Chica growled in annoyance and sat down glaring at the strange creature in the pool.

Jack went under swiftly and panted catching his breath feeling light headed,he swam up and looked at Chica and hissed fanning his fins.

Mark laughed and went inside to fetch his first aid kit.

Jack chuckled and sat down in a step and relaxed not trying to use up the energy he need to save for staying alive.

mark quickly came back kicking his shoes off and sitting down on the step beside jack not caring about his pants getting wet. Opens up the first air kit.

He looked up at Mark shyly and smiled at him weakly resting his head on the pool side,moving so he could get to his tail.

Mark pulled jacks tail up onto his lap so it was out of the water "this might sting but I promise it will be better. That rock was pretty gross looking. I'm not a professional on creatures like you but for us. We can get an infection" he said as he pulled the detergent out of the kit. He put some on a cloth and pressed it into the wound.

He nodded and tensed and hissed squirming slightly at the pain gripping the side of the pool.

Mark looked at him with concern in his eyes. he wrapped it up tightly enough that it wouldn't bleed but not so that it would be to tight to hurt "hmm" he thought for a second before putting some water proof tape on "is that okay?"

He moved his tail and he didn't like the feeing of it but noddded shyly and smiled at the other "thanks"he said meekly.

"Your welcome" Mark smiled their shoulders touching. He blushed slightly his hand still resting on jacks tail.

Mark smiled and straightened up "yeah" oh hey. You ever seen a dog before?!" Grins and turns around "here chica!. Come here girl" he held out his hands as the big golden dog bounded over and lay down at the edge of the pool. Mark hugged her and put his forehead on hers messing up her long fur, some of them sticking to his wet hands.

Jack looked at her glaring " she doesn't like me,and I frankly do t wanna be eaten by a big furry monster"

Mark laughed his soft funny sounding laugh and looked over at jack smiling "she won't eat you ya doof! She's nice. I promise"

Jack huffed and shakily sighed and meekly touched her ,starting at her ,he relaxed and pet her smiling.

Chica whined happily and nuzzling into his hand

He grrinned and kept petting her happily "she feels weird" he chuckled slightly his fins slightly wiggling.

Mark watched not noticing he was staring till chica moved to snuggle closer to jack and stood on marks hand. He shock his head "hey are yo hungry? What do you eat?"

" meat " he said simply " usually fish" he gestured to his very sharp teeth as he grinned to show them.

Nods "sure. Ever tried stake?" He grinned "I'll get some if you want to try it. I'm guessing you don't normally cook yours"
Chica barked excitedly at the mention of stake.

He shook his head " no, never cook or tried stake" jack smiled gazing at him and rested his head in his hands

"Want to try it?" He asked not to stare at the beautiful creature in front of him "cooked it really good. I'll make some if you like"

Jack nodded gazing up at him sweetly "I'd love to " he said ,not able to hide the excited grin.

Mark giggled and went inside getting out the steak he was planning to cook for dinner anyways and gets it ready for cooking
Chica pressed her head against jacks hand.

Jack playfully pet her happily " who's a big cutie" he cooed to her.
