Jace's POV

Ok so I guess you're confused right? Well, me and Emily have good(ish) voices but, no one at our school knows. We thought we'd have a laugh by singing like crap. Of course, our parents turned up to support us, thinking we were finally going to show off and be accepted instead of being 'The Nerds' but then, they saw us making a fool out of ourselves and just laughed.

It was a good night.

"JACE! WE'RE GONNA BE LATE SO GET YOUR FAT LITTLE ASS DOWN HERE NOW OR NO FIGHTING!" My crazy sister yelled. Oh crap! I forgot I had a fight today.

"COMING MY FAVOURITE LITTLE SISTER DARLING, PLEASE DONT KILL ME!!!" I screeched back. I heard my mum laugh at my reply.

Sprinting downstairs to find my dad sat in the kitchen with Emily sat in front of him meditating. I rolled my eyes, shoving my shoes on and picking up my car keys.

"You know, you couldn't stop me since you can't drive after me." I told my sister, whilst waiting impatiently at the door for her.

She snarled then laughed a tinkling laugh. "no brother dearest I can't but I'm fairly sure mum could." she said smirking.

I gulped, opening the door I sprinted to my car and strapped myself in. Behind me strolling at a leisurely pace was my sister. Muttering to myself I keyed the engine, waiting for her to strap herself in.

"Who's it with tonight Em?" I asked, curious about our opponent. She grinned in response.

"Cookie crumble and raven!" I rolled my eyes, ever since 'Cookie Crumble' had tried to ambush is she always took particular care with beating him up every time he challenged us.

"Wait, I thought raven was moving?" I asked confused.

"Nope. Crow moved raven stayed."

"Jeez Em! how d'ya keep up with all this gossip?!"

"I dunno Jay it's something called listening!!" she rolled out sarcastically.

"Pshh!" I said, not impressed, "I llisten not my fault I'm not girly!"

She gasped and we spent another half an hour insulting each other, eventually fading into comfortable silence.

"Look! we're here!!" Em said reaching to open the door. I stopped her before she could leave.

"Um..?"

"Your face looks incredible today!" I said by way of making her remember her mask.

She groaned, "where would I be without you?" she asked.

"Not here." I muttered, grabbing our masks and giving Emily hers.

"Ready?" she questioned?

"Ready! lets make some cookies crumble and some ravens.....loose all their feathers!" I yelled triumphant at my save.

She glanced at me, shuffling away and said "who are you? I don't know you! your wierd! I'm going bye!" she jumped out of the car sprinting away.

I quickly caught up after locking the car and started leisurely strolling to the doors. Grinning, we each grabbed a door handle and yanked it open, the room fell silent as we walked in.

"Well, well, look what the cat dragged in?"
