The New Me

My heart is beating at 100 miles per second. "You can run but you cant hide"a voice says. I run as fast i could run but unfortunately i wasn't the best runner. My feet suddenly didn't feel the ground. I look down and see that i was falling. I hit the ground and feel nothing. Not pain, not sadness, not fear, absolutely nothing.

I wake up on the hard wooden floor. "Ugh what happened"i questioned. It was just a nightmare but yet it seemed so real. I heard my mom call my name, "Summer get dressed or you'll be late for your first day of school"she yells. Oh right today is my first day of school at lockwood high,im a junior at this school. I get up and get dressed. I decided to wear something comfy but stylish so i was wearing this,

I curl my blonde wavy hair and brush my teeth. I walk downstairs and see my mother talking to a women. Did i tell you that my mom makes friends quick. My eyes wander to the girl who looked like my age who was sitting on my couch. Her eyes were glued to her phone. "Summer meet Ms.Young"my mom says which gets me out of my thinking.Ms.Young reaches out her hand for me to shake. I kindly accept her offer and shake her hand. "Nice to meet you Ms.Young"i say politely."Same to you"she says with a smile. "Oh and this is my daughter Tomika"she says while facing Tomika. The girl looks up from her phone and walks towards us. "Hey im Tomika"she says while smiling. I see where she gets her smile from. "She will be taking you to your new school"My mom added. Well at least i'm not going by myself. I nod my head and told my mom goodbye and also to Ms.Young.

The car ride was pretty silent until Tomika finally spoke. "So where'd you come from"she asked while keeping her eyes on the road. "Australia"i say. "Cool"she said. There was that awkward silence again. "Oh well um were here"she says while pointing to the school. The school was enormous to big for a private school. My i add that it was beautiful. There was a tree in the middle of where you go in to the school. My jaw dropped and looks like Tomika saw. "Beautiful isn't it"she smirks. "Yea who knew that a private school can be so big"i say with a chuckle. "Well apparently this one"she says. I get out of the car when all of a sudden something hits me from the back of my head. "Ow"i say while falling. Tomika rushes toward me and help me up. "Oops sorry"a boy said. I look up to see a boy with brown hair and green eyes. He was perfect might i add."Yea its fine but next time watch it"Tomika barks. "Oh i'm so scared" the boy mocks. "Shut up"i say to him. His eyes widens and begins to grin. "So you can stick up for yourself"he says. I roll my eyes and just walk away. Where too well i don't know but as long as i'm far away from him. Tomika catches up to me and laughs. "Where are you going"she chuckles. "I don't know maybe as far away from him as possible"i say. "Alright princess let me see your schedule"she grins and i hand her my schedule. "hm looks like we have 2 classes together"she frowns. "Well its at least something right?"i give her a reassuring smile. She smiles back, "Of course it is"she says. She shows me my locker which luckily was right next to hers.I have the first two classes with her and then the rest i'm on my own.

I follow her to my first class, history. I don't have an opinion for this subject but i still get a good grade in the subject. I sit down next to Tomika in the side of the class. One by one everyone starts to enter the classroom. One familiar person entered the classroom. It was the green eyes boy you know the one that hit me on the back of my head. He sat at the back of the class. I look behind me and see him and looks like he see's me too and smirks.I roll my eye's and look in front of me. Where's the teacher? "Hey Tomika you know where the teacher is?"i ask her. "Hm oh yea he's always late"she says. What a teacher late okay is it just me or is this school weird. "He?"i question. "Yep his name is Mr.Finn"she says responding to my question. I turn back around to see a teacher climb in from a window. Okay this is officially the weirdest school ever. "Okay class looks like we have a new student"the teacher says while looking at me. "Whats your name"he asks me."Summer"i respond. I'm not used to being the center of attention especially when everyone is staring at me like right now. "So can you play any instruments"he asks. What why would he ask that? "Uh no but i can sing"i shug. "Um not to be rude but why would you ask me that"i ask. "Well can you keep a secret"Tomika says. "Erm yes"i say confused. "Well were a secret band called School Of Rock"she says. What a band in history class okayyy. "I'm the lead singer and bass player"she smiles, "That's the guitarist"she says and points at a asian guy. "That's our piano player"she says pointing a a guy with glasses. "And finally that's our drummer"she says and points at the green eyes boy. WHAT green eyes boy really why him. "Hey can you sing a song for us"Mr.Finn asks. "Uh sure"i say and walk to the front of the class.

"Hide away hide away"i sang. I was done and i saw everyone's faces. They were all shock, was I really that good? "What"i question. "That was awesome"green eyes boy said. I feel my cheeks burn up. "Hey what do you think about becoming our lead singer"Mr.Finn asks. I see tomika frown i don't want to take her place but although i do like singing. "No thanks i think Tomika has that covered"i say while smiling. I turn to see Tomika looks like she was happy i said that because she had a big smile on her face. Soon enough the bell rang. "Okay class see you tomorrow"Mr.Finn says. I grab my stuff and was about to leave when someone tapped on my shoulders. I turn around to see green eyes boy. "Freddy"he says. "What"i say. "My names Freddy"he says grinning. "Well uh hi Freddy"i say nervously. He smirks and walks off. What is up with this guy im so confused.
