Both believing they had the higher road and the more spiritual center, they walked away. The door stayed closed and locked. Some would say burned to a crisp.
Some would say it's sad that they didn't work it out.
Some would say it was about damn time. They didn't need the other with all their shit.
"It's best for me if she's not in my life and it's best for her too. It will give her time to figure out her mess. I will love her from a distance," they both decided as they walked away.
The world kept turning. Both grew and filled in the hole that was left that day. Time tends to lend such tools to do that.
While the twins walked their own way apart there were moments that would bring the other to their mind. More in the beginning, but not so much now. The feelings varied.
What do the twins think about the split? Who knows. The ties that they thought could never be broken were broken by the similarities that they forgot they had in common.
