sorry I didn't update yesterday guys I've been unwell a lot lately (before this story) and yesterday I couldn't update, I was so bad so I'm making up now.

*Faye's POV*

BEEP, BEEP, BEEP.

I lean over and turn my alarm off, today's the day, I have to do it for me and Niall.

I quickly get dress, do my makeup and leave for school, my first lesson is History then I have English so I'll talk to my teacher after today's lesson.

first lesson went great, well of course it did nobody is in that lesson to bother me, but now I have English, great the lesson I've been waiting for since yesterday.

I take my normal seat next to Niall, of course I get a few looks and comments but I ignore them.

"H-hi Faye, Look I-I'm really sorry about yesterday, I was just trying to help" Niall whispers next to me, I just keep my head down and don't answer him, I can't answer him, I can't see his face.

the lesson finishes after what feels like hours, I wait for everyone to leave the classroom and go talk to my teacher.

"umm, Miss I need to talk to you"

"ok Faye, what is it?"

"Umm, well I was wondering if umm, Maybe I could swap partners I don't... I can't work with Niall, Its too weird" at this point I hadn't realised that Niall had walked in and was giving me a look of such despair.

"Faye, what? we were getting a long fine, I helped you, HOW COULD YOU GO BEHIND MY BACK!" Niall ended up shouting making tears slip down my cheeks.

"Niall, I'm sorry I can't work with you, I can't take this anymore" I whisper.

"you can't take it, Faye my life is Hell, My mum is dying, My dad doesn't care about anyone but himself and no one in this school talks to me, except you, but now I guess that's changed, you can't take it you don't have the right to say that" with that Niall runs out the door.

"Niall!" I shout.

"Faye, I think you should go after Mr. Horan and explain your self and no you can not change partners, Life is about taking on challenges and trying to move obstacles out of your way, not run away from them" My teacher says Calmly.

I run out of the door towards the exit in search for Niall, but I can't find him anywhere, I decide to go home, I know I can't go back to school not after what just happened, its not like my parents will be in.

I've been laying on my bed listening to music for hours now, that's until I hear a loud knock at my door, I get up and open the door and see a oldish man with brown hair looking tired and worried.

"Hello, are you Faye"

"umm, yes"

"I'm Niall's father, he's missing, he hasn't been home since he left for school this morning but I was told he ran out after second lesson, I'm really worried about him would you happen to know where he is?" Oh no this is all my fault.

"no, sorry I don't" I say in a shocked voice.

"ok well if you happen to find him please tell me, oh and I found this on his desk that's how I knew your address" Niall's dad says walking away.

a letter, for me?

I open it and begin to read it.

Dear Faye

the first time I saw you, you were crying, your beautiful face stained with tears. From that second I never wanted you to cry ever again, I felt the need to protect you, from everyone.

the first time you saw me I was whimpering under Scotts looks and comments, it wasn't the heroic, Knight in shining armer moment I wanted but at least you noticed me.

I was the person that stop Scott at that house party, I've been in your shadows since I saw you cry that day, I have always been there for you even if you didn't know it and I will always be by your side, or in your shadows stopping you from ever getting hurt like you were that day I saw you from your window when I was walking in the forest.

Faye you're a beautiful, kind, amazing human being and if one day you read this letter, know that I love you.

"oh my" I gasp after finishing the letter. I never new. he is my hooded hero, he has been the one protecting me and I shut him out, I need to find him, but where? I read the letter again. THE FOREST! I grab my coat and run to the forest that is right out side my house, he said the first time he saw me was when he was in the forest, my bedroom window has a perfect view to the forest, I keep running looking round every corner, shouting his name, until I see him. his blonde hair with his fingers laced through it and I know from this moment I never want to see Niall upset again, I want to be the one with my fingers laced through his hair, I knew that but I was just too scared to admit it to myself. I want Niall Horan.

from now on the scenes might get a bit more mature so, yeah.

Double update tomorrow to make up from missing it yesterday, it would have been double today but I wanted the cliff hanger haha.
