Chapter 9

*NIALLS POV*

After school I never go straight home. I have a special place I go to.

When I first came here my Dad wanted to get me out of the way to get unpacked and make my Mother feel at home. I kinda walked around the streets until I came across a bridge that led to a forest. it became my second home, or my first home.

All I did there was sit and think, I thought about everything until I had nothing else to think about, then I would slowly walk home.

A few weeks ago I decided to walk through the forest and see if I could find anything interesting. I discovered this huge mansion!

There was a massive window right at the top of the house and the light was switched on. I could clearly see right through it. That's when I saw her. She was the most beautiful thing I had ever see in my life. Long dark brown hair, fair skin and tear stained cheeks. She was crying. And I wanted to know why, desperately.

The first time I saw her properly was when I was about to get beat by Scott about a week a go. Wasn't exactly the introduction I had in mind. Then one night I was walking home and I heard someone screaming. My initial reaction was to run but then I heard another voice shouting and I recognised the voice. Scott. When I found out what was happening I got mad. Really mad. Something clicked inside me and I just wanted to rip that dickhead to shreds. If I hadn't had been there that night she would have been raped.

I made it my job to protect her.

I know this sounds weird and creepy but I kinda follow her around outside of school. She doesn't know it's me because I'm extra careful she doesn't notice..and I make sure my face is covered. I guess I'm living 2 separate lives. At school I'm a complete dork that everyone bully's and then out of school I'm some mysterious masked hero. At least I finally have a chance to use what I learnt at my karate classes..I don't think I mentioned, I'm a black belt.

I arrived home at around 10pm.

I went into my mums room and sat by her bed. She looked so peaceful and motionless. She looked happy. She's never happy anymore, she was in Mullingar. We all were in Mullingar. My Dad insisted we moved to try and get her better. He can't come to terms with the fact she isn't going to get better. All he wants is for her to live as long as possible but what he doesn't realise is the longer she lives, the longer she suffers. He's such a selfish prick.

To be honest I don't know how I'm going to live without my mum. She's my best friend. She listens. She helps. She's my mum.

I kiss her gently on the cheek and walk up the stairs. I slip into my bed, still fully clothed.

Why me? what have I done to deserve everything that happens to me at home, at school and now Faye thinks I'm a stalker, I was just trying to help, I didn't want to see her getting hurt, but now I'm the one that is hurt.

this chapter is to show you all Niall's character in this book, I hope you understand his reasons for every action, he loves Faye and he feels the need to protect her. he is her hooded hero.

oh and this story will have sex/foreplay scenes we just need to build up to them so be warned this story will have mature content, we will tell you what chapters will have any 'action' in them at the start.
