{11} Enoch

{Enoch X Reader}

{Y/N} ~ {Your Name}

It was a sunny afternoon when {Y/N} invited all the peculiars to the beach to go swim. You were already in the water when all the peculiars arrived. You got out of the water and greeted everybody with a wet hug. You laughed and waited till everybody was done setting up their beach items. Once everybody was ready to go a pair of strong arms picked you up.

It was Jacob. He ran towards the beach and threw you into the ocean water. You swam up to the surface and started laughing. You started splashing Jacob with the salty water. What you didn't know was that a pair of envious eyes were staring at you and Jacob. Enoch took off his shirt and went in the water. He walked with Horace trying not to get even more mad at the sight of you and Jacob laughing together.

Jacob finally gave up trying to splash you and went back to his blanket to go get his boogie board. You saw Enoch in the water and decided to surprise him. You swam quietly over where he was. Horace saw you but you put your finger to your lips. Horace looked away and tried to hold in his laughter. You counted in your head '3..2..1..ATTACK'.

You jumped out of the water and on to Enoch's back. You heard Horace's laugh in the background. Enoch stumbled forward, but then he regained his balance. You giggled, Enoch just shook you off and didn't looked pleased. "Enoch, are you okay? Did I hurt you? I'm awfully sorry," you said. Enoch turned to face you and gave you a 'leave me alone face'.

You nodded and jumped back into the waves. You met up with Jacob and faked a smile. You and Jacob took turns boogie boarding. After a while you went bodysurfing while Jacob did some more boogie boarding. You couldn't get the thought 'what did I do wrong?' out of your head. The sun was setting so everybody got out.

Hugh started a fire and everybody came around it. Enoch still wouldn't give you a passing glance. You were hurt by this. You told everybody that you were going to grab a towel. You walked were you put all your beach stuff at. You grabbed your towel and walked down the beach. You kept walking till you noticed that you couldn't see the campfire no more.

You looked up to the moon and wished for answers. Tears started to stream down your face. You heard footsteps in the sand. Wishing it was Enoch, you turned to see Jacob. You let out a sigh and stood up. "Hey, everybody is worried. What happened? You were happy when we were in the water?" Jacob said. You didn't answer. You hoped if you looked at the moon a bit longer that he would go away.

You heard another voice come. You recognized that voice from anywhere. "Let me handle this, Jacob," Enoch said spiting out envy when he said Jacob's name. "Alright, but if you make it worse. I'll punch you." Jacob said. Jacob gave one last look at you and walked towards the camp fire. Enoch walked up to you knowing he messed up.

You could feel his presence next to you. You were not going to start the conversation. You sat down and wrapped yourself hard into your towel. Hoping that it would hide you away. You heard an impact to the sand next to you. Enoch sat down as well. He looked towards you, but you kept your gaze at the moon.

After 10 minutes of complete silence, you couldn't handle it no more. You turned and saw Enoch still looking at you. You started tearing up again. You told your self 'I'm not going to cry, I'm not going to cry'. "What did I do to you Enoch?" You said in the strongest voice that you could manage. "What did I do wrong?" You said trying to hold your voice from breaking.

"Nothing. You did nothing wrong. I'm the one who's in the wrong. I..I got jealous seeing you and Jacob together laughing. It got to me. I pushed you off cause I couldn't think straight. Once I turned around to see your eyes. I regretted it immediately, but I couldn't say anything." Enoch said his voice full of regret.

"You did that because you were jealous? Enoch I thought I told you, me and Jacob are practically brother and sister. We never had that feeling towards each other. I only had those types of feelings for one person." You said. "I... I got jealous because I love you. I know that Jacob and you have that type of relationship. But.. I get jealous when your around any guy. Because I'm afraid that they will take you away from me."

You couldn't believe your ears. You froze with shock. "I'm sorry, I should respect that you have feelings for another person." Enoch said. Enoch got up and started to walk. You shook off your shock and got up. Your towel fell off you. You ran in front of Enoch. Enoch stopped and looked at you. "I..I love you too Enoch. I have those type of feelings for one person. And that's you Enoch and no one else." You said.

Enoch smiled and pulled you into a kiss. The kiss was full of true love. Then you heard a flash of a camera. You and Enoch pulled away from the kiss. He glared and you turned around in his arms to see all the peculiars smiling at you two. Jacob said, "You better not hurt my sister. Also, Horace you owe me five dollars. I told you that they would get together." Enoch laughed and you were a blushing mess.
