Thanksgiving was usually a family function everyone was invited too. But I hate relatives they are so annoying and cocky and snobby I just hate them. Your probably thinking to yourself Chanel they probably aren't that bad bitch you've never meet my family. We have the Grovers and we have the Gilmores. The Grovers my Dads side of the family was full of snobby annoying white folks the only two I could stand were my cousins Elmore and Elizabeth who are 2 years my age . The Gilmores my Moms side of the family they were awfully annoying always asking you questions you don't know the answer to like why don't you have a boyfriend ? Why aren't you married yet ? What college do you wanna go go to ? Why don't you like cats ? Even thought your 17 and shouldn't be asked some of these questions.
This Thanksgiving everyone decided to come even my third cousins cousins. I wasn't feeling it and I was never gonna feel like. I hate people and I wanted to escape this nightmare. My mom woke me up in the morning and said I should get ready I showered and brushed my teeth and hair. I walk out to see my mom & sister with a personal stylist, Hair stylist and makeup artist.
"What the actual hell mom it's fucking thanksgiving why they fuck are you acting like we're going to some Hollywood premiere"
"Watch your tone young lady you better not be cussing round the table when the guest get here or I'm taking away your phone and grounding you and if you think I can't wait me"
" I actually like this kinda stuff" Gabby said as she loved being pampered and feeling like a princess.
"Did I asked you if you like it or not ?"
"Chanel Marie Grover Be nice to your sister and change your fucking attitude"
"Shit now you've got me cursing"
"Mom omg please stop before you kill me of laughter"
"Okay I'll stop seat down so you can get your hair done"
About 4 hours has passed and we were all ready look like celebrities right out of the red carpet. I swear I looked bomb af and I know it if only Ethan could see it.
Thanksgiving sucked let me just give you an above view of the night. My cousin and I decided to sneak out in the middle of the integration we were getting from our relatives. We got 4 tubs of ice cream and ran off to gist with each other.
"Any new guys Chanel ?" Elizabeth said while looking excited for my answer.
"Oh course she does she is Chanel Grover" Elmore said while I slapped his back while laughing.
"What the hell do you mean like I don't know Wither to take it as a compliment or an insult," I said while grabbing a spoon full of mint chocolate chip ice cream which was my favorite. I then told Eliza all about Ethan while Elmore was listening in.
"Oh there you guys are I've been looking for you guys everywhere Elmore and Eliza Aunt Helen where looking for you guys I think your going home" Chanel said sounding all innocent I rolled my eyes cause it was all an act she puts up for our relatives. I looked around and noticed it was pretty dark outside I saw the time and it said 11pm I really wondered how time flew so fast.
"You should think now that we are 19 we would get more freedom" Elmore said with a chuckle. They waved goodbye and gave hugs to everyone else who was leaving. I left sad and lonely at this point.
10 minutes later I heard a knock on my balcony. I saw a guy holding pie.
"Did anyone order pumpkin pie?"
"I don't remember ordering pumpkin pie to my balcony"
"Well I know how much you love pumpkin pie so I decided to bring you some"
"I hate pumpkin pie what are you talking about ? "
"Well maybe I just needed and excuse to come to your balcony"
"You little hunk come here" I then gave him a kiss that felt warm and tingly.
"Well this was totally worth it"
"Come in let's eat"
"I thought you hated pumpkin pie"
"I know but it would be really cute if we ate it while watching a movie or something "
"Oh yeah I forgot to say happy thanksgiving"
"Happy Thanksgiving Ethan I'm thankful for you"
He then kissed my forehead and said me too. I then thought how he never had asked me to be his girlfriend I was still waiting. But waiting hurt. Ethan soon fell asleep on me 1 hour into the movie since it was pretty late. I just smiled and fell asleep in his arms.
