Ally's POV:
I groaned as I stacked the 50th shipment box of the day inside the storage closet. It was the first week of summer, and i had to run the store when I could've been learning calculus or chemistry. Just as I was picking up another box, Trish walked in. "Guess who just got a job at the daycare?" "I thought you already got fired from there, why would they hite you again?" I asked. "New manager". "Ohhhh, that makes a LOT more sense now." "Yea i know right. So, what are you doing?" Trish asked coming around the counter. "Just stacking new shipments" "Ugh, that sound like... like..." "Work?" I finished for her. "Yea... that's it... well have fun with that!" "Where are you going?" I called after her. "In the practice room to take a nap" Trish answered nonchalantly, climbing the stairs. I chuckles lightly to myself, and was about to start working again when Austin and Dez came through the door. "Ally, you'll never guess what just happened!" Austin said jumping on the counter, and turning to face me. "What?" I asked with a small smile. I can't help but smile when Austin smiles. "Jimmy is giving us the summer off in Hawaii AND he's paying for everything!" "Really?! That's awesome!" "Yea, and our flight leaves tomorrow morning." Dez chimed in. "Great! I'll tell Trish when she wakes-" "Hey guys" I turned to see Trish herself coming down the stairs. "Hey... what are you doing down here? I thought you were taking a nap." I inquired, slightly confused. "I was. Then my boss called me. Why can't he see I was busy doing nothing? Rude." she complained. "Guess what Trish? We're going to Hawaii!" Austin said, barely able to control his excitement. "What? But we can't!" "And why is that?" Dez questioned. "Because when my boss called, he said that he was leaving town tonight because he won a summer cruise, and I told him YOU would babysit his two kids!" Trish explained pointing to Austin and I. "What?!" We both exclaimed. "Trish! Why would you tell him that?! OUR flight leaves tomorrow!" "Well I didn't want to do it, and you guys were the first people I though of. Besides, it's too late because he's on his way now, and he'll be here any minute. "Fine, I'll see what I can do. There's no way I'm missing out on Hawaii." Austin said. Then, he turned on his heel, and stepped outside to call Jimmy...
Austin's POV:
I can't- well, actually I COULD believe that Trish would tell her boss that Ally and I would babysit his kids for the summer! I sighed as I dialed Jimmy's number. I really hoped he could pull a few strings and get us some different housing arrangements. There was no way 6 people could fit in one beach house for the whole summer. Finally, Jimmy picked up the phone, "Hello?" "Hey Jimmy, it's Austin. Listen, is there anyway you could get another beach house for us?" "I suppose... why?" "Well... Trisg kinda volunteered Ally and I for last minute summer babysitting." "Sounds like Trish, I'll get another next door woth enough space for 4 people. I'll pay full price for plane tickets, but only half for everything else." "Great! Oh and Jimmy?" "Yes?" "Charge the other half to Trish." "Will do!" Jimmy said chuckling as he hung up the phone. I faced back into Sonic Boom. "Hey Ally, can I talk to you?" I yelled. "Sure-oh!" she said in surprise as I picked her up and threw her over my shoulder. I streaked up the stairs into the practice room, set her down and locked the door in one swift motion. "Austin?!" Ally exclaimed fixing her hair and clothes as I turned around. "Haha sorry Ally, I just have to tell you something but Trish can't hear and Dez would blab." "So... you chose ME to keep a secret? Really?" "Well I figure you could keep a secret like this" I said grinning. "Okay, what is it?" "Well, Jimmy said he would get us a second house and pay full price for the tickets, but only half for everything else." "Okay... so?" "SO, I told him to charge the other half to Trish for volunteering you and I for babysitting duty." Ally thought for a second before replying. "Normally I'd be disappointed in you... but I actually kinda like this plan so... let's do it!" She said excitedly. "Great! Now let's go back out, Trish's boss will be here soon." Ally nodded, and grabbed my hand, leading us out of the practice room. When we got downstairs Trish and Dez were already talking with a tall, dark-skinned man. "Ahhh! Here they are!" He said as we approached. "I'm Trish's boss, Mr. Yale. These are my kids Emily and Jacob. They are twins." He explained, stepping aside to reveal a double stroller with two babies in it. "Awww! How old are they?" Ally asked, picking up Jacob. "They are two. And I also understand that while watching then you will be in Hawaii?" "As long as you're okay with it." I answered. "As long as they don't get kidnapped, injured, or killed, take them wherever." "Ummm okay." "Well, I better get going. I'll check in with you periodically. Call if you have any questions." "Yes sir" I said closing the door behind him. Then I turned towards the others to see the kids asleep in Ally's arms. "So now what?" Trish asked, breaking the silence. "Now, we got home, pack, and get some sleep before our flight tomorrow" I answered. One things was for sure. The next day, was going to crazy.
