Austin's POV:

I flung my sheets off and stumbled to my desk so I could turn off the alarm on my phone. My alarm was You Can Come to Me because it was the the first duet I sung with Ally. The one at Jimmy's Halloween party doesn't count since she was pretending to be Taylor Swift. I opened my closet and pulled out a pair of dark-faded jeans, a yellow t-shirt, and some black and yellow sneakers. When I got dressed, I checked the time. It was 6:00 and i had to pick up Ally and get to the airport by 7:00 because our flight left at 9:00. I races down the stairs, grabbed a small package of pancakes from my secret stash and hopped in my car. I floored it and prayed we'd get to the airport on time. I checked the time, it was 6:15. I couldn't be late or else everything would be pushed back. I muttered under my breath as I tried weaving through traffic, and finally pulled up to Ally's house. I walked to the front door and, rung the doorbell ad started texting Dez. When Ally answered, I was in the middle if reading a text. "Hey Al- woah. What happened to you?" I asked. She looked like a zombie with wet hair, tired eyes, and Jacob in her hip. All she was wearing was a bathrobe. "Let's just say I got no sleep last night." she sighed. "I'm really sorry Ally, I would've taken the twins if I knew you wouldn't get any sleep." I apologized. She smiled, "it's okay Austin. This just means I get practice for later" she joked. Later? What? What's that supposed to mean? I wondered. Ally spoke again and snapped me out of my thoughts, "Hey, I'm going to get dressed and finish my hair. Will you watch the kids?" "Sure" "Great! Thanks Austin." she said handing me Jacob. "Just go into my room and dress the twins. I'll be back soon." she said, and then, I was alone. I walked into Ally's room with Jacob and picked him out a onesie with sporty-looking bears all over it. I almost had it on him when Ally came back, and was confused when she burst out laughing. "What?" "You... put it on wrong!" she giggled. "Oh yea, then you try." I replied stepping aside. "Okay, I will." In what seemed only mere seconds, she had undressed and re-dressed Jacob. His head was no longer between the front snaps, and I had to admit, Ally was good. "Woah..." "Told you" she teased. "Whatever..." Ally dressed Emily and we loaded up in my car. The drive to the airport was only 10 minutes and we met up with Trish and Dez in no time. "Okay, so I'm in row L2, Dez is in row R2, and YOU two are in R5. "Awww, why? I wanted to talk to Dez about making a new music video where we dress up like Zaliens!" I complained. "Well too bad. I don't want to be stuck with two brats for hours." "Fine" Don't get me wrong, Ally is awesome, but I REALLY like Zaliens...

Ally's POV:

Once we boarded the plane I tried my eat to stay awake as long as I could. Watching the kids overnight was fun until... bedtime... Mine, that is. They woke me up 10 times (5 times each) throughout the night wanting to be fed, which meant I had to dig out the formula, mix it up and then wait for some peace and quiet as they ate. After we had been in the air for a few minutes I started thinking about the ups and downs of the night before when Austin interrupted my thoughts. "Ally? Can I ask you a question?" "Sure" I smiled. "Well, I was wondering... when you said having the kids over was 'practice for later' what did you mean?" "I meant that when I'm OLDER I'll eventually have kids to look after." "Oh." "Did you really not understand?" I asked laughing at him. "Of course I di- no." he admitted. "Austin it's fine, I'm just messing with you." I said patting his knee. He smiled, "speaking of growing up, where do you see yourself in a few years?" I was just about to answer when Jacob started crying. Quickly, yet carefully, I picked him up so I wouldn't disturb Emily. Since the row has three seats, Austin and I decided to put the twins on the inside, me in the middle, and Austin in the outside. Once Jacob's cries had lowered to whimpers, I stretched out and kept him on my chest, my head turned towards Austin. "You were saying?" He laughed. "Oh right! Well... I don't know. I think I'll just focus on my music career for now, and worry about everything else as it comes." "Yeah, even the unexpected baby-sitting duty." We laughed and I continued fighting the sleep-battle, which I was slowly losing. "What about you?" I yawn. As Austin was talking, I could feel my body starting to shut down. I was practically asleep, but not before hearing Austin say "and I'll wait for you Ally. I'll wait until we can be together." and with that, the world around me faded away...
