I've never missed anyone as much as I miss him. He was my everything.
It all started When he moved down the street from me. I could literally walk outside and look at his house. He was with my best friend and it seemed like they loved each other a lot. We were best friends for two years when they had got together, but after they got together she went crazy over him and we decided we couldn't be friends anymore.
When he moved in town they began to talk
And he told her that he liked her and she liked him... you know how that goes.
At first I didn't think twice about it but because she practically lived with me the first time they got to hang out it was here.
At my house.
Of all places.
We were all on my porch and I looked up at him, and he looked up at me.
I knew then that I liked him. I had to have him. Him and only him.
As soon as I looked at him I knew that I wanted him.
I texted him that night he left from my house and I told him how I felt, I literally poured my heart to this boy and he didn't know me for Adam.
I asked him if he was even interested in me...
"I like you but I'm scared. My mom doesn't like me dating black girls."
I was crushed.
He began to date my best friend.
When they became official and they officially started dating I cried for weeks. I hated myself.
I started seeing pictures of them everywhere. They did everything together. I began to forget about it and I tried to avoid seeing them. He moved in right across the street.
I watched him day after day.
I loved him and he didn't even know me. I never said anything.
Him and my ex best friend were having problems in their relationship.
I got a text of my phone one day from this unknown name.
I looked at it and it said, "Aye it's Bryce."My heart dropped outta my chest. My first thoughts were this has gotta be a joke, Maybe his girlfriend had his phone and she was just trying to see if I was gonna fall for it. Then after that message I got another one.
"Meet me at the basketball court."
My heart sank even more. Do I go? do I not go?
I replied, "Is this a joke?"
"No, why would it be?😂"
Great now he probably thinks I'm stupid.
I put my jacket on.
I peaked outside to see that he was headed out to the basketball court, along followed his best friend.
I got soooo happy.
I ran to my room and fixed my hair and put on some nice clothes, I did my make up, and I put on some perfume.
I walked down my steps and every step closer to the basketball court I got more nervous. What if it's all a joke? If it's a set up?
I peered around the corner of the house next to the basketball court.
I seen him and another guy I had seen a lot at his house standing by the goal.
"Hi, you said to come out here?"
"Yeah, can I talk to you alone for a minute?"
"Sure."
He grabbed my arm and led me to the nearest bench.
"I was wondering if you wanted to hangout sometime? At your house or something?"
I paused for a minute.
"What about madi?"
Madi being his gf... or ex?
"Me and her are having problems right now. I remember you from when me and her first started dating. You told me you liked me..."
We both kinda just looked at each other for a moment. Speechless I should say.
"Yeah, I had to get over it because you guys started dating."
"Well that's a shame."
And about that time his friend walked over...
Dammit.
What does that mean???
"Well that's a shame?"
Should I still like him? Does he like me?
"Oh, by the way this is Jeff."
"Oh, hey Jeff."
We all walked back to the basketball court.
"Hey Jeff do you wanna go chill at her house?"
Jeff kinda just looked at him as if he were crazy or something.
Jeff pulled Bryce to the side. I couldn't hear what they were talking about but I figured Jeff didn't care for me that much.
"Jeff said we can go to your house if you want..."
I looked at him and then I looked back at his friend.
Is this really happening?
By this time him and my ex best friend had been dating for almost a year now, and I had began to lose hope of them ever breaking up.
