School sucks, especially when you have no friends. It's even worse on Mondays.

Throughout her years in Hillsdale high school, Nova didn't really have many friends. The only friends the brunette had were her books and her best friend Quinn.

Quinn was Nova's go to person whenever she had a problem because Quinn was the one to fix it. They were always together. You'd never see one without the other. They had similar looks, so similar that one would think they were siblings. They were practically the same person with all the similarities the two shared.

That all changed freshman year.

Nova never gained any type of popularity, whereas Quinn did. Quinn gained so much that she became the 'queen bee' of the school.

After a dumb fight, Nova was left heartbroken and alone. Nova never had any mental disorders until they "broke up".

Over time, Nova began developing depression and anxiety. She hated feeling so alone and hopeless, but she couldn't do anything about it. Her whole school deemed her as a freak and no one dared get close.

Nova walked through the double doors that lead to the parking lot where her black Chevy pickup sat. She didn't want to go to her shrink appointment but she had no choice, well not for another year.

The brunette got into her truck, starting the engine and was on her way to Seaside.

Nova already hated Doctor Hartman, or Bernadette as she wanted to be called. It's more casual, the doctor claimed.

Nova didn't care, all she wanted was to get out and go home. She wanted to be snuggled up in her warm fluffy blankets on her bed, watching her favorite TV shows, and eating anything that looked good in the pantry that was currently calling her name.

Bernadette began asking questions, like how old Nova was, what her dreams were, her hobbies, anything that could "bring them closer". Nova didn't care, she answered all of them in desperate hope to end this painfully boring session.

After what seemed to be a century, which in reality was only two hours, Nova was finally home in her bed. She was currently catching up on the new season of Teen Wolf and eating the popcorn from the tin she had gotten as a Easter gift from her grandmother.

Scott McCall was the hottest alpha, Derek Hale coming in a close second. Tyler Posey really played the part of Scott well.

Nova hated the fact that Liam Dunbar and Hayden were together. Hayden was super annoying and obnoxious in her opinion. Mason and Cory on the other hand...

After the Teen Wolf marathon, Nova decided to watch The Fast And The Furious movie marathon. At some point she must've fallen asleep because when she awoke, her alarm was blaring.

Nova stood up and walked into her conjoined bathroom, taking the first step of her long process of getting ready for the day. Taking a shower.

After her shower, she changed into one of the grey jumpsuits in her closet. Nova brushed her hair out and tied it into a ponytail. She walked out of her room, only getting down half of the hallway before she was pulled into a room.

The door closed as soon as she entered and she was spun around, only to be met by the most beautiful grey eyes Nova has ever seen.

"Good morning beautiful." He said right before he kissed her passionately.

His lips felt like silk as they moved against hers. She loved the way he held her, gentle yet strong. Like he was afraid that she'd disappear. Nova absolutely adored him, she just wished she knew his name.

She was pushed up against the wall, his hands gripping the backs of her thighs. Nova hopped up and wrapped her legs around his waist. The man kissed across her jaw and down her neck, making her release a breathy moan.

The guy kissed his way back to her lips and pressed their foreheads together.

"I missed you." He said.

"I missed you too."

Nova unwrapped her legs and he let her drop to the floor. She stood on her toes to leave a light kiss on his lips. They walked out of the room together, not holding hands even tough she desperately wanted to.

Soon the duo were in their seats so they could drive the ship. They redirected their course to the closest inhabitable planet. The planet they decided on was Earth since it was already inhabited by life.

All they had to do was get through was the asteroid belts and they were home free.

Their planet and Earth were a galaxy apart, that was nothing for the duo. They've crossed the universe together.

A few hours later, they were hitting the last asteroid belt that separated them and earth. Nova studied him. His handsomeness was sometimes so overwhelming she forgets to breathe. The man looked at Nova as if he sensed that she was studying him. He gave a smile that made her heart flutter so she smiled back.

Suddenly the ship shook violently, and the heart melting smile was replaced with a look of shear terror.

Red lights flashed spasticly as a monotone voice repeated, "Cargo hull has been breached. Left wing has been damaged. Immediate maintenance required."

Dread set into Nova as she realized that there is no others on her ship that knew how to fix it, and the ship takes two people to drive. They were either going to crash or dock onto another ship. Docking onto another ship was their best chance of survival.

The guy flipped a switch on the dashboard and put on a headset. He moved the mic to his mouth and began to speak.

"Lead has been hit, requesting docking on two. Over."

Nova wasn't paying attention to where she was driving the ship, she was to engrossed in watching him take control of the situation. The way he took action was beautiful to Nova. Or, well, he was beautiful to the brunette.

Suddenly the light on his face changed into a fiery red, way different from the golden yellow it had been only seconds before.

Nova turned in time to see an asteroid the size of a small boulder hurdle towards the ship. Before she had any time to react, it hit the ship, causing extreme pain to go through Nova as she was thrown back.

She screamed as she felt a jagged sheet of metal thrust itself into her side, slicing open the delicate skin. She hit a wall, banging her head and pushing the sheet deeper through her side. She heard her name being yelled from somewhere but couldn't pin the source. The ringing in her head made everything harder to hear.

Nova slid down the wall, slumping as she felt the thick hot liquid drain from her body. She let out a whimper as the metal caught the nooks in the wall. The metallic scent that clung heavily in the air made her want to gag.

Suddenly his face swam into Nova's vision. "Hold on," He pled, his voice dulling as her vision went dark.
