Chapter 5

It had been a week since I last talked to Zayn,I've been hanging out with the others here and there got myself busy with some modelling contracts but I didn't see Zayn at all this week.Plus Niall had told me that Zayn's birthday had past and he didn't even come to the party they organized for him.They even tried calling him but he didn't answer.Today was Olivia's birthday and we had arranged a little party between friends at my apartment.Em came earlier to help me decorate and make food and stuff while the others were I don't know getting ready.

"There we are done" Em said arranging bunch of ballons together.

"Finally,the others are so helpful" she chuckled

"They will never help you for anything it's something that you have to know" she looked at my face.

"What happened"

"Uh...do you have Zayn's number"she nod

"Could you give to me I'll try calling him one last time if he agrees to come today we could celebrate his birthday and Oli's" she hesitated but gave me the number surprise she had it.I went into my room to call him,I entered the numbers and was hoping for him to answer.First ring...second ring...third...

"Who's this and what do you want" oh well mister rude is back

"Hey Zayn it's Gigi"

"I don't know any Gigi" is he serious

"Um...the girl that ate with you at the restaurant"

"Oh you,what do you want"

"Why didn't you answer the others call"

"Was it important?"

"No but you should have you can't just ignore someone's call they care for you Zayn you can't just disappear like that"

"Like they do care and I'm still alive why are you so worried it's not like you care either"

"I'll just stop arguing with you I called you to invite you at my apartment it's Oli's birthday and we are going to celebrate it"

"Oh well hope you'll enjoy it"

"But..." And he cut the phone. I tried calling him again but his phone was switched off so instead I texted my address and I was hoping he'd come.

"What did he say" Em said when I entered the living room

"Nothing much he doesn't even know my name and when I told him about the party he said hope you'll enjoy it and then he cut the phone" she chuckled

"It's not funny that boy has something going on in his head" then her expression changed

"He does,I never tell this to anyone but your our best friend now.The thing is Zayn had a very though past we don't know all the details but his past hunts him he fight to let all that anger out.We had tried so much to help him but he never opened up and plus he bearably even eat" I was even more surprised that she knew all this stuff about him.

"I've seen that I met him at a restaurant last week and he didn't want to eat at all but he did when I told him I'll stop talking if he does" she smiled

"You may be the one Gigi,he's probably going to let you know everything about him,stuff that we don't even know"

"I doubt that he didn't even know my name"

"But at least he remembers you" then the doorbell rang. I went to open the door and saw all of the others bursting in the door.

"Hello to all of you too" I said closing the door

"We don't have time Olivia is coming,now hide" Louis said.We hid and someone entered.

"SURPRISE!!!" when the light opened Zayn was standing there and Olivia behind him.Zayn was shocked and Oli had a huge smile.

"OMG thanks guys" she hugged us all and then we all looked at Zayn.He noticed and looked at us the same way.

"Guys I saw Zayn walking in the street so I told him to come with me" we all smiled and nod.

"Come let's cut the cake" Em said,Olivia was about to cut her cake when

"Wait a minute" I said I ran to the kitchen took a cake that I bought from the fridge and bought it in the living room.

"What's that" Harry said

"Another cake"

"Another cake for me" Olivia smiled wide

"Um...actually I thought that someone's birthday was the 12th of January and we didn't get to celebrate it so we could do it now" I looked at Zayn

"I don't need any of this I came here because she literally dragged me here" he yelled and left by slamming the door.I got shocked,the others turned to look at me afterwards.

"Don't worry Gi,he's always been like that" Liam said

"Guys cut the cake I'm not in the mood anymore"

"But..." I didn't let Oli finish and slammed my bedroom's door.I felt bad for her it's her birthday and her friend is here in the bedroom hidden,scared to show the tears falling down her face.

"I though he changed,why is he like that,why is he being this hard" I literally wanted to tear my hair apart.I don't even know why I was acting like this.All of this was getting into my head and I couldn't handle it.I took a jacket,left my room,left the apartment pass the others. I was walking didn't even know where I was heading,until I came to the fighting area.I once again felt the urge to do look at what was happening.As I walked closer,I saw Zayn literally killing a guy with kicks and punching him with his knuckles.I gasped and Zayn turned around,I left running more,literally scared what he might do to me.More tears were falling from my eyes.

"Hey stop" I continued,I knew he was calling me

"God stop" he took my wrist and turned me around

"When I say stop you stop,got it" his eyes were dark it wasn't those shining  hazel eyes. I nod.

"Good" he let my wrist go and I wanted to run away I couldn't possibly stay with someone like him.

"Where are you going"

"You don't need to know" he came once again near me

"You're not going anywhere"

"Zayn I'm not interested in staying here with you.You killed that guy with your own hands don't you even have pity for any of them.I'm not staying any minutes with a monster like you.Don't you ever try to come near me or talk to me,got it" it hit him right in the face and I left...
