DeAndre-
Math was hella boring, like always. I've been coming to this class for a fucking week, and couldn't pay attention to save my life. Good thing Mar helped me out, but he didn't stay in the room too much anymore. He was always studying with a friend...
He better not be getting freaky with any other nigga. Or worse, a girl. I want to do so many things to that kid, to be freaky. But I doubt really know if I genuinely like him or just want to fuck him. He's cute, no lie, but I don't want to ruin him, either...
This is going to be tough to figure out.
I pulled my phone out while teach was taking and sent him a text.
Me: Wassup boy, you trynna hang later?
I kept my phone on the desk, cause he always texted back. I began copying her homework off of the board and let the teacher give his whole lecture on the next lesson. I heard my phone buzz and looked.
MySnakk👅: Why are you calling me boy, you idiot? But yeah. I'll be in the room today actually.
He stayed calling me idiot. But I'm his idiot and he gotta deal with me.

I took the elevator up to the seventh floor, and went to the bathroom. I really shush I didn't because someone was taking a shit and it stunk really bad.
I washed my hands and quickly went to my room, eager to see Maurice. I barely see him anymore after morning class.
As I approached the door, I hear 2 voices. Mar's and someone else's.
"How the fuck did you get that?" The random voice said. I quickly opened the door to some light guy laying on Mar's bed and Mar laying in his leg. They both were holding scratch paper and a worksheet.
"You just use the formula then animals math. Multiply first, then divide," Maurice glanced over in my general direction, flashing a goofy smile. "Hi!" My eyes stayed on the light skinned guy the whole time.
"Yo," I said. "Who this?"
"This is my friend Jay," Mar said. Jay never looked up from doing his math. He just nodded with a simple 'wassup'.
"So you been with him everyday after class?" I said.
"Woah there, your voice is getting a little stush, pal," he said. Yeah, I was a little defensive, but only because Maurice was hanging with someone else and ain't tell me.
Wait...why did it matter?
"I was helping him with his math," Maurice said. Maurice was really smart. He knew a lot of things, and even the things he has recently learned, he can tell you about them like a pro.
"Yeah, I live right next to the IT building, so we just go to my dorm and study." Jay said
"Nigga, you know I needed help with my math, so you dipped on me?!" I said almost yelling.
"First and foremost for futures to come, don't yell at me bitch," he said, with Jay going 'oooohhhhh' in the back. "Second, don't try to say I don't help you when we work on your math every night."
"I bet y'all work on more than that at night, the way he yelling at you," Jay said nonchalantly.
"SHUT THE FUCK UPP!!!" Mar said, slapping his arm.
"I'm kidding, damn! Why you so heavy handed?"
"Hey, dunce?" Mar said to me. "I can help you with your math before your next class right now." He smiled. I love his smile.
I pulled up a chair to his bed, and we started working.

"Come on!" I said to Jay and Mar. it was Friday night, and I had girls coming so we could get into a party tonight. I was trying to leave early so that it would guarantee us getting in.
"What's taking your friends so long, Dee?" A girl asked me.
"Nothing baby, they are coming down right now," I said, caressing her chin. She was a cute brown skin thang with a cute ass bob cut. She wore a black pin dress with black velvet heels. Then there were her other hoes. About 5 or six of them. But shawty did have my attention for a minute.
Jay -
I came down before Maurice did, he wasn't finished yet. As soon as I got down, I was asked where he was.
"He's coming," I lied. But soon, the elevator opened behind me. Mar stepped out looking fresh like never before seen. He had on his black Timb's, blue skinny jeans, a white jersey, green spring jacket, and a black beanie. He also had some black earrings in. Talk about woah. He was walking past me when he looked and said, "your face is red, son". He never talked like that often either. Who is this guy?

"Everyone give me your hands," the frat bouncer said. He put X's on all of our hands and let us in. It was already packed. Live music and drunk people, wow. HBCU's are lit.
"What floor y'all wanna hit first?"
"Floors?" One girl said. "You been to one of these before, daddy?"
"Of course I have girl," Dee said. I was hella confused for a minute. I thought he had a thing for Mar. now that I think about it...
I looked back behind me, and I never thought mar could look so mad. He was a cheerful guy most of the time. This was different for him. But his anger soon turned into something else...something stale. He turned, and began walking to the basement to where all the music was playing. Before I could, a girl grabbed his hand. She had the features of an Indian girl, but she was lighter. She was cute though. She could have turned me.
"Where are you going?" She said. "You don't want to hang with us?"
"You go ahead with everyone else and have fun!" Mar said with a smile on his face. "I'm just gonna go dance for a while. Be safe!" He kissed her in the cheek and left the group. I waited for Dee to jump in, but he was all over his flock of cabbage patch hoes. I easily slipped away, and went downstairs.
