Everybody in the world is a different song.
Some people are energetic, pumped up songs.
Some are slower, sad songs.
Some can be jazzy, soothing songs and some can be light, funky songs.
We're all a different genre.
We can be punk, reggae, jazz, bebop, hip hop, latino, etc..
Or we can be a blend of them all.
Don't let one song define you.
People who are a blend, mix with people well and make friendships last.
These people put everything in their "song".
So why not listen to the chords they play?
Fall under the spell of mixed majors and minors.
Contrasting voices that sing a symphony in harmony.
Hearing with your heart; feeling the bass line.
Embracing the notes like a warm hug in cold weather.
It tells a story, paints a picture, explains a problem, and helps a cause.
Becoming well-known isn't what the song was composed for.
The artist made it to paint with their hearts, not their hands.
To speak with their souls, not their mouth.
To bring a smile to somebody's face with just their eyes.
Getting lost in the beat, melody, background, chords, and harmony.
Showing the ones they hold close what they have is something special.
Being a blend is something you can change but never stop.
So what blend are you now?
What blend do you wanna be?
What song will you create with your heart?
How will your song be seen by others?
Did you play with your heart or your head?
What spell will you cast on the ones who listen?
As an composer, embrace the music around you.
As musician, experience the majors and minors in you.
As artist, paint with the world around you and the feelings inside you.
As a song, play loud, be heard, and tell your story proudly.
