Last night
The night before
Everyday this week
A different dream every night
Sometimes filled with joyful moments
Other times scared it won't end
You were always there to help me
Picking me up, keeping me moving, never letting me give up things that seemed almost impossible
Always making the days grow brighter
But now the day grow darker filled with fear instead
Day after day, night upon night, the silence grows
Consuming the atmosphere around me everywhere I go
Scared you might be gone I stay away
You might be hurt but fear controls me
Determination to do great runs my life
Big things, have a family and be happy
G minor playing a song, cold, dark, and slow
Wondering where you learned it
Reading the words you see and writing for a difference
Sometimes it's what keeps you off my mind
Helps the nights seem a little less quiet
The sun will come out to rid the days of dark
May you be with him to show me to smile again
Memories fading that were once dreams
Connections vanishes losing the people we were
People getting hurt
Friendships being broken and hearts shattering like glass
Questions always being thought of and asked
Answers never spoken
Being hurt makes the heart grow dark and cold
The song plays on, with every beat and chord.
