76 || getting a pet ; b.r.r

imagine you're both 18+ in this :)

brandon and i walked hand in hand into the pet shop. we had just recently moved into a new house and i wanted to get a pet. my heart melted when i saw all the puppies and kitties and i about threw up when i looked at the snakes. (can't trust no on these days. everyone's a snake 🐍)

"awwww!" i gushed. "can we take all the puppies?"

"we can only get one," brandon looked at me. "and it can not be a girl."

"you're no fun!" i pouted.

a worker walked up to us. "hello! what are you looking for? how can i help you?" (workers like this are so annoying to me. i'm fine, thanks!! ✋)

"we were wondering if we could look at the puppies." i smiled at the lady.

"are you looking for a specific breed?" she asked.

"nope." i said.

"just no girls." brandon shook (1!1) his head.

"alrighty." she laughed. "follow me."

we walked behind her. as she led us into a room. their were puppies walking around and play fighting, while some were getting baths.

"see any you're interested in?" she asked.

"i like them all." i gazed in awe. "they're all so cute and i don't want to just choose one."

"i'll give you some time. when you're ready, call me over and we can get everything for you." she walked off.

"b, please let me get two." i looked at him.

"no way." he laughed.

"please." i gave him puppy dog eyes.

"we can't get two. they're too much work and one is enough." he didn't budge.

"come on. please!" i pouted. "i promise i'll take care of them both and i'll be a great mother to the puppies. please let me get two."

"fine," he sighed. "but they better not poop everywhere."

"yay!" i gave him a quick kiss and ran to the puppies. "hello, cuties!" (cayyyuteee)

i played fetch with them and rubbed their bellies. i loved dogs and they were so cute.

"have you chosen them yet? we've been here for almost an hour." brandon complained.

"don't be so salty." i stuck my tongue out at him. "don't you like doggos?"

"of course i do, but taking care of them is hard." he sat down.

one of the puppies crawled on him. brandon gave the puppy a pat and started playing with him. "let's take this one home."

"alright." i smiled at him. "i love this one." i scratched behind it's ear. "it's so cute!"

"ma'am!" brandon called the worker over, who was giving some dogs a bath. "we'll take both of these."

"what should we name them?" i asked brandon, as the puppies played around on our laps.

"how about caramel and chocolate chip?" he asked.

hey! my crush got back together w his ex and i'm sad, but as long as he's happy, it's okay. it's crazy that it's 2017. i'm still writing down the year as "2016" on everything. 😂
