38 || Tutoring Brandon Part 1

"Mrs. Haley can you please send Y/N to the principals office," the intercom lady said.

What was this about? It's so weird, I don't remember why I would be going up there.

But without any hesitation, I got up.

"You're in trouble!" My best friend joked.

"Quiet! Please," the teacher said. "Y/N take your stuff and head to the back office."

I packed up and sighed. I walked out and started heading for the office. I walked in and sat down next to someone in a red hoodie.

"Hoodie down, Mr. Rowland," the principal said. "Y/N, nice to see you! I wanted to discuss something with you - you're not in trouble, so don't worry."

"Oh, okay. Thank you?" I said confused and still worried. The boy next to me put his hoodie down.

"This is Brandon and Brandon this is Y/N. She will be tutoring you for the next two months," the principal said.

"What?!" We both said at the same time.

"Brandon's been busy with touring and traveling around the world so he needs to catch up and you have outstanding grands. So you're gonna tutor him, sound grand?" The principal said.

It's not like we have to a chance, do we?

"I guess....," I trailed off.

"I'm fine with that," Brandon said.

"Alright, after these two classes you'll meet up in the library and then you guys will be working with each other for two to maybe five hours," the principal dragged on and on and on. "And you guys will work with each other every single day, expect Sunday's and rarely Saturday's."

"Okay," I said.

"If anything comes up, tell me and we'll discuss it," the principal said. "That's it and here's both of your excuses for your next period." He said handing us two yellow slips. I reached for mine the same time as Brandon and we grabbed them.

"Thank you, bye," I said and got up and started heading for the door. I reached for the handle and I felt another hand on mine. "S-sorry," I stuttered. I toke back my hand and he walked out the door. I sighed and walked out.
