Lucky Me

Denise p.o.v.

I was woken up by my puppy Rocky jumping into my bed telling me it's time to wake up.

"Hey Rocky" I smiled rubbing him on the top of his head.

I then got up and went to the bathroom cutting on my shower.

Just before my mom knocked on the door.

"Come in" I said tieing my hair up for my shower.

She came in with breakfast for me.

"Thanks mom"  I grabbed the plate out of her hand sitting on the edge of the bed.

It was bacon,eggs, and pancakes with orange juice on the side.

I ate a couple pieces of bacon then sat my plate down.

"done already? "my mom asked.

"Yeah not really that hungry"I said going back into the bathroom.

"alright" she said taking my plate back downstairs.

I jumped in the shower and cleaned myself,brushed my teeth,lotioned up and put my clothes on.

I wore black jeggings,a red shirt that said" Love" on it in gold (Gold hoops and and my hair in a straight high ponytail showings off my baby hair.

I said my goodbyes to my mom and Rocky before heading out.

I walked up to the bus stop and waited for the bus to come.

I put my headphones in and listened to Jhene Aiko "The worst" and sat in my usual seat in the back of the bus

After a couple more stops these girls got on.

"Hey Denise" they said in unison.

I rolled my eyes looking out the window.

Those girls bully me.

They've been bullying by them since I was a freshman I'm a Junior now but I'm cool with basically everybody but those 3 girls and a few boys.

They sat close to me just to bother me and started talking mad shit about me.

"can yall just leave me alone?" I took out my headphone aggravated by them.

"the bitch starting to grow some ball whaaa?" Melody laughed looking over at her followers.

I rolled my eyes putting my headphones  back in.

But they snatched it back out.

I got pissed off about to say something but then this boy came up to us.

"Aye baby come on" he said grabbing me.

They started to act thirsty.

"You go with HER..sexy?" Stacey looking at me then back at him smiling.

he looked at them and shook his head then back at me.

"Denise baby,why you avoiding me?" he said pulling me over to the side but speaking loud enough for them to still hear.

He must've heard when you called me when they came on the bus because I've never seen him before.

He winked at me to play along.

"you know why I'm avoiding you" I said playing along folding my arms looking down.

"Baby I'm sorry"he said looking into my eyes lifting my head up with his index  finger.

I almost died.

He was beautiful about 5'7 or 5'8 nice smile,deep Brown eyes,curly mini fro,and perfect caramel skin.And big chocolate lips.

Those girls  were getting pissed.

He leaned in to kiss me.

But I turned my head walking off down the bus aisle.

"Denise" He followed me and sat next to me.

"Good acting" I smiled nodding my head at him.

"Thanks, you did Good too" he smiled.

"thanks" I mirrored his smile.

"You have a beautiful smile and eyes" he looked into my eyes then back to my smile.

"Thank you" I tried to hide it though.

"no I wanna see it" he removed my hands from over my mouth.

I blushed.

"My name's Jacob" he said still gazing into my eyes.

"Denise" I shook his hand.

"I'm new at this school you think you can show me around?" he questioned shyly.

"Um sure did you get your schedules yet?" I asked.

"umm yeah" he said grabbing it from out his Versace book bag.

I looked at it.

"So you got Mr.Dentist for 1st hour" I said examining his schedule.

"You do too?" he questioned.

"No,but we have Social studies , P.E,lunch and Chemistry together"I said.

He smiled.

"Then I guess we get to see eachother alot" he smiled.

"yep" I nodded.

"I'll give you a tour of school...just stay with me" I said as the bus stopped at school.

And I was about to walk off the bus but then those girls tripped me.

"excuse me Jacob" I said balling my fist not wanting to take it anymore.

Shit was about to get real.

"No" he grabbed my arm looking at me into my eyes  looking concerned.

"they ain't worth it" he shook his head.

I nodded my head and just walked off with him ignoring them.

"You lucky you cute" I laughed.

"What?" he laughed.

"nothing" I smiled grabbing his hand and walking into school together.
