Everything is dark. My body rest uncomfortably against the hard, cold floor. For a brief second, the cold soothes the aches all over and in my body. Then, the pain is overwhelming. I feel myself slip away once more.

The next time I'm awake, I find myself in a similar cell from before. However, this time the cell size is twice that of before.

"I wouldn't move that much." A voice says quietly to my eight o' clock. I try to get up and look at the intruder, but find myself off balance. I collide roughly on my side against the concrete floor as a wave of dizziness hits me.

"I told you." It takes me a while before I recognize the weary voice as Rob. I must be in the worst shape ever where it takes me a while to recognize my twin brother's voice.

"Are you alright?" This time I slowly turn around to glance at him. He's shrouded in the dark shadows, hidden from my view. I squint and can see his outline against the wall. "I can barely see you."

"I'm alive. THat's all that matters right now. It's a good thing you can't see me right now." He coughs a little before continuing, "You're a sight for sore eyes."

I slowly sit up, taking my time this time. The dizziness has disappeared but a raging headache has replaced it. I squint up at the weak lightbulb over my head. The cell doesn't have a window so I can't tell whether it's daytime or not

"What I love to hear from you." I quip back at him before I try crawling over to him. I don't trust myself to walk right now.

A sharp pain in my arm catches my notice as I move towards Rob. I glance at what's left of my grimy clothing. Rolling up my right sleeve cautiously, I see a white bandage wrapped around my forearm.

I glance at where I think Rob's face is. He speaks up slowly, "They injected something in us. I think it's a tracking device, but I'm not really sure. Who knows what these fuckers are capable of? It could be anything." He laughs very bitterly before adding, "It really brightens up the day, huh?"

I rip off the bandage and don't really see anything in particular. I frown because this just. adds to my list of worries. I'm alive right now so I can worry about my current life-threatening situation.

"Why are you here?" I ask him.

"I got kidnapped." He quips. I guess after all that has happened, he still has some humor. That's good.

"I mean, Why are you in this cell with me?" I sigh and eventually get to the wall next to him. He turns away from me when I try to assess his appearance.

"I don't think either of us are in any condition to escape right now, let alone do anything at all." He sighs before finally turning towards me since I keep trying to get a look of him.

I gasp in shock. He has multiple lacerations all over his body.

"No need to be too shocked." He tries to reassure me. "All nonfatal. Just a few bruised ribs and bones but mostly a bruised ego."

"Anyways, what did they ask you when they were beating the crap out of you?" He says rather bluntly.

"They asked about the parents. I didn't tell them anything."

"Same." He gives a small nod in agreement.

"What do you think they wanted?"

"Who knows? I can't gather anything from them besides they hate us and our family."

"Same." I groan in pain and frustration. "You happen to have any painkillers?"

Rob looks at me seriously, "Sure, let me check my pockets." He doesn't move.
