"Mane.. Bruh wake up.. Come on quit palyin." I try shakin her awake.
"Dude. You knocked her out....." Nick says just as dazed as everyone else.
As it turned out, the last shot I threw as she turned was what had made her turn. I had laid my nigga out. Yet, I didn't really feel that bad. In fact, I kinda felt like laughing. I wanted to jump up and down and proclaim to the world that I just knocked her ass out. I mean, she was my patna and all but after that lucky shot niggas didn't believe I was someone to respect. I guess after this fight there was no denying that respect was due towards me. The darkness in me that had taken over during the fight spoke once again...
That's what she get..
What... She could really be hurt. What if she doesn't wake up..?
Ehhh.. It wouldn't be a bad thing.. At least she'd be away from her crazy ass girlfriend right.?
Dude. I don't know who you are or how you got in my head but you are FUCKIN Crazy.
Haha. Seriously.? I'm you. I'm the Part of you that's been caged and chained for the past 8 years. You seem to forget we were ROYALTY as a child. Malachi, I'm King. I'm the side of you that's always fought for our survival while you sat by and let people take advantage of you. I was the one who beat all those people in the cage. I was the one who defended you against the bullies growing up.
Royalty..? What are you talking about? Dude you just knocked out my best friend!!
She needed to be knocked down a few pegs anyways. Nobody respected you after that first fight. She made you out a punk, so I made an example of her. Or should I say.. We made an example of her.. WE aren't bitch made. WE RUN shit. And it was time EVERYBODY knew it. I'm tired of standing by in the shadows. Sooner or later I'll break your control and when that time comes.. I'LL RUN YOU...
What's that supposed to mean...?
Hello..
As I struggle within myself trying to keep it together, Mane wakes up. Relieved, I pull myself together and go to her.
"Dude are you ok?? Don't move until you're ready."
"Ok Prima that was a pretty good one. I'll give it to you. Next time I'm beating that ass though. You got lucky." She responds laughing, "I guess I don't get to talk shit anymore."
"No, I guess not." I laugh back thankful this wasn't taken seriously. As I help my best friend up, still confused by the intense conversation I apparently just had with myself, we head to the stairs
