Chapter 1

Ashlynn's POV

I was currently walking down the school hallway texting my best friend ,Alice when suddenly i felt something hard push me to the ground cause my phone to fall. I quickly look up to see Niall Horan, my biggest enemy's face completely red from laughing so hard.

We didn't always have this kinda hate towards each, we used to be best friends until he started ditching me for the more popular kids at the time we were about 13. ( we're currently 15)

Recap: 3 years earlier

"Hey Niall wanna sit with me at lunch" I asked.

"Yeah sure" He responded.

"Pinky promise"? I questioned holding up my right pinky.

"I promise" He replied linking his pinky with mine.

"Okay see ya later Ni" I yelled while running off down the hallway towards my first class.

"Bye Ash" I heard him yell back.

-At lunch

I walked into the cafeteria only to see Niall sitting at the popular table , surrounded by the school sluts.

I ran over to Niall.

"Hey , I thought we were gonna sit together" I said as soon as I got there.

"Oh sorry , I forgot . Maybe another time" He responded, but you could tell he was lying.

As I was walking away I heard one of his friends say:

"Are you actually her friend? She's such a loser"

"I know right , and definitely not who would want to be her friend" Responded Niall.

After that I ran home and started crying and never talked to him again until this year.

When i heard the bell ring , I quickly got up grabbed my phone and started walking to class. When I got there I took a seat beside Alice.

" Ashlynn , it seems to me that you are late. Now why is that" Asked Ms. Brown , our history teacher.

"Sorry Ms.Brown I lost my books in my locker and I was trying to find them" I lied.

"Well maybe if you were more organized you would've been able to find them faster" She replied turning her attention back to the class.

6 hours later

The day went by pretty quick and I am now walking back home.

As soon as I get there i walk inside, take off my shoes and set my bag on the door handle.

I run into the kitchen , grab a snack and started eating it when suddenly my phone started ringing.

" BABY , BABY , BABY OHHH" starts blaring out of the speaker. I am a huge belieber.

Quickly I answer it , without checking the caller display.

"Hey girl" Alice yells from the other end of the phone.

"Hey , whats up"I yell back.

"Wanna meet me at Starbucks"She asked.

"Sure thing , meet ya there in 10" I reply. And with that I hung up and ran upstairs to my bedroom to get changed.

After 5 minutes of looking I finally found something to wear. I take off my uniform and change into my favorite white frilly tank top and blue skinny jeans.

After I'm done I grabbed my phone and my purse and run downstairs quickly out the door.

Starbucks is only 2 minutes away so I am there on time , but Alice isn't here yet so I choose a seat and sit there and wait.

After about 3 minutes she finally walks in.

"Hey wanna order" I say.

"Sure" She replies.

With that we both walk up to the counter and order.

"Can I have a double chocolate Oreo latté please" I say.

"Yea , and for you"? Said the cashier referring to Alice.

"Can I just get a caramel chocolate latté please" She said.

After that we payed and started to head for the door.As soon as we got outside, we both saw that Niall and his friends were heading to us.

Quickly Niall slammed into me causing my latté to spill all over my shirt.

"Watch where you're going, nerd" He said in a rude tone.

"Hey are you okay "? Asked Alice.

"Yeah I'm fine thanks"I replied.

I quickly started to run towards my house while Alice walked back to hers.

As soon as I got home I took off my clothes and got in the shower.When I was done I changed into my pajamas and went to bed.
