Ashlynn's POV

Niall's been acting really weird lately. He used to be so mean but now he's actually being 'nice'.

I don't understand him.

Really don't understand him.

Oh well I'm still mad at him for what he did.

(Later that day)

I was walking in the school hallway when I suddenly feel a tap on my shoulder, I look over to see Nick , a guy from gym class.

"Hey Ashlynn" He said.

"Sup Nick" I replied happily.

"Nothing , really I was just wondering would you like to go out sometime this weekend?" He asked nervously.

" sorry I'm not interested , I mean you're a nice guy and everything but I'm just not looking for a relationship at the moment" I said back with a smile.

"Okay , it's cool" He replied while returning the smile.

I'd love to go out with Nick , like he's really hot and one of the nicest guys I've met , but I've had a past with this guy named Josh, he used to beat me everyday whether it was I said or did something I shouldn't have or just for 'fun', so I really didn't trust guys.

I was laying on the floor crying when he walked into the room.

"SHUT UP YOU FUCKING BITCH" He yelled while kicking me in the stomach.

I started crying even harder and he didn't like that so he pulled me up hard and threw me onto the bed.

"I SAID SHUT THE FUCK UP" He yelled again angrily.

He started to punch and kick me as hard as he could. I held in my tears and bit the inside of my cheek to prevent me from crying any more.

After a little bit he left me there on the bed in pain.

Josh , Oh god I hated that guy so much. I've Only ever told one person about him , my cousin , Jake but thats it not even my parents or my best-friend know. I kinda just kept it a secret.

The only reason why Jake knows is because me and Josh were at my house and we were supposed to be home alone.He got mad at me because I told him he was too abusive and I didn't want to be with him. He didn't like that so he started punching me , really hard. We didn't know Jake was there until he heard us and ran upstairs.

Me and Josh were sitting at the island in my kitchen.

We were sitting there in silence eating when I told him:

"Josh I really don't think we should be together, you're too abusive"

He didn't like that so he started to punch me, and I started to cry. It hurt really bad.

After a bit , I looked over and saw Jake standing there , hand on his mouth , in shock.

When he finally took in what had just happened , he ran over and pushed Josh to the ground. He started to punch and kick him until he was unconscious.

He quickly ran over, grabbed the phone and dialed 911 , and told them about what had just happened.

I was still laying there crying so he came over and started to rub my back gently.

When the police finally arrived, Josh was starting to wake up.They ran into the house.

When they saw me crying in Jake's arms they assumed that the guy that was laying on the floor was Josh so he simply pointed at him while looking at us.

Jake nodded his head so the cop quickly put Josh in handcuffs and started to take him away.

While Jake was off talking to the police man I followed the others outside. Before they put him in the back of the car, Josh said:

"I'll be back , and you will pay for this" He said in full anger.
