Aaliyah's POV

Someone's about to get slapped. No! Smacked! NO! Something much worse with  Patrick because he is getting on. my. dang. nerves. I'm freaking serious! Your probably wondering 'Oh Aaliyah what are you ranting on now!' Well, I'll tell you! It all started a few weeks ago.

2 weeks ago---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Aaliyah, you need to hurry it up in there! You don't want to be late!" yelled my mother. "I'm coming! Be patient!" "Patient! I will come in there myself and bring you to the Christmas party myself!" "Okay..." I walked out of my room I wanted to look good tonight. Especially, since I'm in middle school now. I want to look my best. "Liyah, honey is there a reason why your dressed up so nice." I looked down at my outfit, I was wearing my red pants, a white top, and black blazer. "No...." "Mmh.." When we walk out of the little hallway I see my worst enemy Patrick. "What the hell is he doing here?!" Oops... "Aaliyah, do you want to stay home?" "No...'' ''Good! I didn't think you wanted to. Now, let's go before we're late.'' I rolled my eyes and walked to the door not even bothering to give Patrick a care in the world. "Well, can we leave?" Next thing I know we're walking to a really cool car. But I don't want them to think I'm really interested and silently drooling over so I make sure I have the best emotionless face. Because I'm that cool. We arrive there, and I'm right no time. I see we're here in no time, and mentally jump in my head. You see I like this kid in our grade his name Mark. He has dark brown hair greasy curls with brown eyes and DIMPLES. And he is just so.. beautiful. Anyways, we arrived there and I practically ran out of the car. There's like a play that the parents watch and after that there's a few snacks and we have a vacation. When we got home Patrick wanted to announce something. "Okay, as a Christmas present for you, Alexis I'm taking you to a resort that's only about 2 hours away. Just you and me." I think my jaw hit the floor so hard that everyone under us was like what's going on. "Patrick, what about Aaliy--" "I don't need to go, mom." What just came out my mouth?! "Well, if you say so. I'll just leave your presents with Ramona's mom." "Mhmm..." "Great! Well, Alexis we leave tomorrow." "Okay, well I'll go start packing right now" "See, I knew you'd start to like me." Patrick says after my mom is out of sight. I laugh. "You think I like you huh, try hate you. There's something about you. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I'll find out." "What are you trying say you think I'm hiding something." "DUH! Can I not make it any more clearer?" "Watch your attitude kid!" "Don't you dare yell at me. You don't want my mother to hear. Do you?" He turns away. "That's what I thought. Goodnight Patrick!" All I know is I got that sucker wrapped around my finger and I'll find out what ever he's hiding.

Patrick's POV.

Damn it! Damn it! Damn it! And oh DAMN IT! That little girl has to know something. I need to start being nice to her. It's still early I should buy her a Christmas present maybe she'll shut up. Yeah, perfect idea I'll get her anything that has to do with technology.
