Mia's POV
I stormed away furiously leaving Brandon confused. I was so surprised with what he did, wasn't he scared of the consequences, Mr Q will kill him when he finds out. I walked to the classroom immediately to escape Ms Jane. When I was about to open the classroom door, I heard someone call my name, "Mia... I finally found you. You can't run away now you know, that Brandon boy can't help you now, he's now going to Mr Q. You students, so troublesome." Ms Jane smirked. "However, that's not the reason why I'm here, I'm here to punish you. You better follow me now, or you may have a even severe punishment." Mrs Jane threatened. "Whatever." I said and followed her. Suddenly, my heart started hurting, "Argh." I groaned and held my chest. My chest was hurting. "Is there something wrong Mia?" Mrs Jane asked. "Nothing." I stood up straight and continued walking. I knew the reason of my chest hurting, it was because I overused my power. Whenever I use it, it causes pain, the doctor said that if I don't stop using my power, I'll die.

Mrs Jane opened the door to an unfamiliar room, the room looked a little like a jail. There were mini metal rooms and a big room which was brightly lit which I assumed was for the punishments. "Go into one of the rooms and shut the door." Mrs Jane commanded. Why was I even listening to her. I did as I was told and waited inside. It had a rusty smell and a lot of vandalizing on the walls. I sat down on the floor brought one knee up and put my arm on it, like I always did. I closed my eyes to steady my breathing and my heartbeat when I heard footsteps enter the room. "Mia? What are you doing here?" I heard Brandon's voice and immediately opened my eyes. "It's none of your business." I barked.

Brandon's POV
Mia didn't look one little bit afraid, as usual, she always hid her emotions. She was very unreadable, which was very useful as an agent. "Mia, be a good girl and come with me." That was a familiar voice, Mr Q, he dragged me here literally, he knocked me out and dragged me here. Mia slowly got up and followed Mr Q. And again, I was left confused, I didn't know what was going to happen but I had a bad feeling about it. "Mia wait!" Those words just came out of my mouth. "Be careful. Please." I begged. She looked at me, smirked and went into the room. After awhile, I heard growling, fighting, shouting then, an explosion. The explosion was strong enough to bust the doors and leave me severely injured, lying on the floor. I couldn't see quite well because of the intense pain, my face was burnt, and I couldn't feel the rest of my body.

However, I saw a silhouette of a person walk out of the door towards me, I tried my best to find out who it was but to no avail. The person came towards me took me by the collar and dragged me all the way to the infirmary. Then, the person said something and I blacked out.

Mia's POV
I followed Mr Q to the room, in the room, there were a few weapons and a very complicated machine. I heard the door shut behind me as I got seated onto a chair. "Mia... Mia.... You are my favorite little agent, so, I'm not going to give you a horrible punishment. First, drink this." Mrs Jane said. "No way on earth I'll obey you." I growled in response. "Fair enough, Mia, I'm very curious you know. Why do you resist us? Have we done anything to harm you?" Actually yes, many many times. "Anyway, you have no where to go, and..." She smirked. "You have no family to go back to..." "Shut up." I interrupted. "Cause you killed them all..." "SHUT THE HELL UP!" I shouted. "And, you have a brother that you never knew existed." "SHUT UP SHUT THE HELL UP IM NOT GOING TO LISTEN TO YOUUUU!!!" I screamed. I was so mad that my face was boiling and I only felt like killing her. So, I lost it, I lost control and I made the whole place explode. The pain I felt, it was too overwhelming. I screamed in pain, it felt like someone was stabbing my chest repeatedly and the knife was on fire. Something weird happened after that, I saw my mom standing in the fire, she was wearing the dress she wore before she died "Darling, I'm sorry. I didn't have the chance to tell you. I left you alone, helpless, you were too young, I'm sorry Mia. I'm really very sorry." "Wait mom, MOM! ARE YOU GOING TO LEAVE ME AGAIN? Don't please..." I begged. "Don't leave me alone in this hell. Mom, please don't." I felt a hot tear fall down my cheek. I was crying, something that I've not done for a long time. "I'm very sorry darling, stay strong, you are very strong Mia, be brave. Help your brother remember, remember who we are, who you are and who he actually is. I'll always be in your heart, I'm sorry for this curse you have to deal with. Let some people in, the right people, you're smart enough. Don't follow my order about remembering me before you hurt someone." "Mom? DONT PLEASE! MOM! DONT LEAVE ME ALONE!!! NOT AGAIN! I DONT THINK ILL BE ABLE TO TAKE THIS ANYMORE! IM NOT STRONG ENOUGH MOM! I CANT DO THIS ALONE." My tears were flowing uncontrollably now. "You know I'm dead Mia. I'm sorry, goodbye." And she disappeared. I tried grabbing for her, she really left me alone. Again. I wiped away my tears and returned to my usual emotionless self. I walked out, expecting to see security. That was when a thought popped into my mind. Brandon. He was still here, around here somewhere. I walked to the room and grabbed him by the collar. I dragged him to the hospital, receiving weird stares from many people. I dropped him on the floor and told the nurse, "Tell him that a teacher  found him and dragged him here. Also, don't let any teacher touch him until he recovers. ANY TEACHER. You understand?" I said sternly. "What about your injuries Mia?" Nurse Karie asked worriedly.  "Just care for him." I waved her question away and walked out.

PHEWWW!!' That was the longest chap for now:) I'm sorry for completing this chapter so late,  I've been so busy lately with school reopening and private business. However typing this book helps me take my mind off stuff and helps me to relax:) I hope YALL understand. I'll continue to try my best to write 1 chap everyday:) It may be like 1 chapter every 2-3 days though.
