\\ Jessie's POV //

I woke up to the sunlight seeping through the blinds. Reluctantly, I got up, not really wanting to start the day, but, seeing as the fridge was deprived of food, the grocery shop was a good idea. I shuffled to the bathroom and turned the shower on. I tiredly slipped out of my clothes and gingerly stepped into the shower. I stood in the warm water as I lathered and rinsed my body. After about thirty minutes, I finally decided to get out the shower. I lazily got out, wrapping the towel around my body. I walked into my bedroom to the closet and pulled out a pair of jeans and my favourite All Time Low shirt. I slowly got ready, putting on my clothes. I walked back to the bathroom and blow-dried my hair, leaving it in it's natural waves. I chose to leave the make-up alone, I mean, it's just the grocery shop. I walked back out to the bedroom and grabbed a pair of socks out of one of my drawers. It took me about five minutes to find my black Docs and flannel shirt. After everything was on, I was finally ready to go to the store. I sauntered down the steps and to the key rack that hung beside the front door. I grabbed my car keys and phone, slipping it in my back pocket for no reason--no one ever texts me. I ventured out the front door, making sure to lock it tight behind me. I strolled down the walkway to my car. I unlocked the door and got in. I started up the car and backed out of the driveway.

Once I was at the store, I struggled to find a parking space, so I ended up parking in the very back of the lot. Great. I treaded across the parking lot to the front of the grocery store. I grabbed a basket and went on with my shopping list.

After an hour, I finally finished, so I made my way down the aisle.

At the end of the aisle, I crashed into someone, falling on my ass. My groceries went flying everywhere. Today is just not my day. I looked up at the person. He had tan skin and dark hair that laid in a fringe on his forehead. He wore dark skinny jeans a black tee, Vans, and a green apron, which indicated he worked there. And, might I add, he was quite attractive. He looked worried, immediately helping me up and gathering my groceries that escaped while he muttered 'sorry's and 'I'm such an idiot's. He stood back up and handed my basket to me, "Here you go." He smiled shyly.

"Wow," I chuckled. "You sure know how to knock a girl off her feet."

He blushed, "I'm Calum."

"I'm Jessie, but you can call me Jess," I laughed at his shyness.

He scratched the back of his neck, "Hey, I'm sorry for making you fall. I was thinking, since I'm on lunch break, I could make it up to you? How does coffee sound?"

I chuckled, "You pratically push me down and you want to take me out for coffee?" I was only joking, but his face fell. He shook his head and started to walk away. Crap. "Wait! Calum!" I ran after him, "I was just joking! I'd love to go get coffee."

He turned to face me, his face scrunching up as he smiled.
