The Break Up

Chapter One:

--July 20, 2012

"WHY DID YOU do this to me?" I was yelling at my boyfriend, Jonathon, in the parking lot of our school.

The boyfriend that I have been with for eight months now. My parents didn't approve of me dating the guy but what could they do or say to her? They can't get through to me. So they just sit back and play nice. I know that my parents cannot stand Jonathon. But I love him. And he loves me. Or so I think.

"I didn't mean to! I'm sorry! Jonathon was yelling back at me.

"Of course you meant to do it and no, you're not sorry!! If you were sorry you would have never cheated on me!"

"No! I truly am sorry, Emma! Her and I are done. Nothing ever really happened. She was all over me. I swear!"

"Oh my gosh!! It never ends with you. Just one lie after another. You know what, I'm going to put an end to this. We are done!!" I'm crying now.

"Emma! You don't mean that. I love you!"

"No, you don't. If you loved me, you would have never cheated on me."

"Emma, don't leave me! We love eachother, remember?"

"No! We don't. I thought you loved me but you don't. You're sick. I just don't understand why you would do something like that. I thought I loved you, and to be honest I was having doubts about it these days. I don't know who you are anymore. I don't want to pretend anymore. So I mean it, we are done. I never want to see or talk to you again!" I walked away without another word.

I'm done with him.

We moved shortly after Jonathon and I broke up. To a new house, a new school, and a new life.
