Brandt opens the door, as he hears someone knocked, and got peculated on who was there. A little boy who has long, sharp ears is looking for Ruke. Brandt tells the little kind that Ruke isn’t around that time and asks him if he is with usually with Ruke, but, the little boy rudely answers, “Would I be looking for that guy if I’m with him?”

Brandt tolerates the young boy and asks instead of who he is. “Zero. And you are?” “Brandt.” “Okay. Nice meeting you, Brandt. Bye.” Yugah said and turns his back on Brandt. Brandt calls Yugah and asks him if he just got lost by chance. “I’m never lost. It’s just I can’t trace him well because of my cold.” Yugah answered and runs away. Brandt watches the little boy go away until he’s gone.

Giotto comes onto Brandt’s back and asks him if Columbine and Ruke had already come back. ”They haven’t.” Brandt answered. “Who rang the doorbell a while ago?” “A little kid who is looking for Ruke. But he didn’t tell why he is looking for that guy.” Brandt, then, describes to Giotto, “…. Ad you know what, that kid is somehow like an elf or something like a dwarf. His ears are longer and sharper than the usual human ear.” “That might be a congenital biological defect.” “It doesn’t look like that, Gi…The ears were normal looking, except for its length and sharpness.”

“In that case, its better we ask Ruke about that little kid you have met.”

Zero, near the entrance to the woods, makes a barrier around the area surrounding the villa. He was seen by Ruke who is still carrying Columbine. Ruke asks Yugah of why is he on earth as he put Columbine down. “Didn’t you saw what I did?” I sheltered those pitiful humans.” Yugah answered rubishly, and asks him if he hear their brothers around. “I did. That’s why we’re on our way back to Columbine’s friends.”

Columbine goes near to Yugah and thanked him for protecting her friends. “I didn’t do that to get any praises. I’m just bored.”

Behind Columbine and Ruke, someone over them like a cat and sliced Zero’s back. Yugah falls down and is bleeding hard. “Zero!” Columbine cried and kneels down to heal him while Ruke followed his sight on Zymrethe who hurt their youngest sibling.

“Tch… that didn’t even made him loose grasp on the barrier.” “I really hate you the most. You never behave like Yugah does.” Ruke scolds Zymrethe monotonously but seriously; however, Zymrethe didn’t put any care on him.”He and I are never alike, Ruke. I know that I’m bad so don’t you lecture on me.”

“And did when he ever lecture on you?” a voice asked Zymrethe. Ruke looks behind him and sees his other brothers. “Basilisk, Calyx….” He utters.

“They must be Ruke’s brothers… They must be really old, but they look like they’re still on their forties or fifties.” Columbine said as she’s still treating Zero’s long, deep wound. At the back of her mind, she wonders on how old Yugah is.

  Ruke is tied with woods by Calyx, his other older brother. He tried to break the numerous woods wrapped on him but he can’t budge it out. His brother, who did wrap him, laughs at him and says,   “Sorry, bro. we have some business with your girl. I’ll just wait for her to finish treating your favorite.” “Damn you! Let me go you half-male demon!” Ruke yelled at him. “Hahah! Look who’s more of a half demon? Aren’t you the one, Ruke?” Basilisk pointed out. “I’m not referring to our demonic being. It’s more of the gender.” Ruke clarified.

“Should I whip you already?” Basilisk asked on Ruke while holding a whip.

“Aren’t all of them half demons?” Columbine asks in her mind. Suddenly, Yugah speaks and tells Columbine that Ruke is the only half demon in the family. Columbine got startled on show come Yugah knows what she’s thinking. “I can hear someone’s voice of mind… And you do have so many annoying thoughts.” Yugah tells her.
