"F-fun?" I suddenly felt a chill run through me at his words. His definition of fun pretty much meant torture for me. The last time he had said that was when he had nearly ripped my head off my body with his powerful fangs, "I think I'm good."

Instead of replying the devil simply rolled his eyes, glancing at me before grabbing my wrist. His touch was rough and he nearly tugged my arm out of its socket with his strength. Leaves crunched under our feet as we both moved at a quick pace. I broke into a slow jog to keep up with the pace he walked.

Thorns blocked the way we were heading. I sighed in relief, already trying to turn back as we slowed down.

"I think this means that I should go back-" before I could finish I watched in wonder as the green eyed demon snapped his fingers. The thorns shrank away instantly as if they were afraid of him. He continued to tug me through the forest.

"I think we should-"

"Will you shut up for just a second?" He snapped, his tone sharp. I fell silent. I had forgotten who he was for a few moments, I'd forgotten about the monster that his behind that handsome face of his. I bit my lip, thinking of what would happen to me. Would he bite me again? Or would he find some other way to torture me?

After a few minutes, we came to a halt. The devil spun around, frustration clear in his eyes.

"Walk faster," he demanded. I raised my eyebrow at his request.

"I can't," i reminded him. I watched as he ran a hand through his hair in frustration. Clearly he never had human company that he didn't eat before,"if it frustrates you that much why don't you just kil-"

I nearly had a heart attack when a hand covered my mouth. The devil stared down at me, his eyes darkening. His eyebrows were furrowed as he glared at me.

"I thought we agreed not to say the k word?" He muttered. I nodded quickly, letting in a huge breath of air as he uncovered my mouth. He continued walking ahead of me, seemingly unbothered by the fact that I might escape.

No, not unbothered, more like confident.

He knew that he could catch me easily if I ran. He also knew that I wasn't stupid enough to try.

What was his deal anyway? A few days ago he had displayed no real emotion yet now he was full of one emotion-anger. Death must be a sensitive topic for him.

"What's your name?" I tried to make conversation. A sudden boost of confidence had appeared in me due to the fact that I seemed to be safe...for now.

"Something you don't need to know," he replied over his shoulder coldly. I bit my lip thinking of other questions to ask. As much as he frightened me he also fascinated me. He was a total mystery that I was determined to solve.

"How about I tell you about myself and then you can tell me about yourself? It would be a trade," I tried.

"Why would I want to know anything about you?" He scoffed. He didn't turn back to look at me as we weaved through the trees.

"Because-" I paused thinking of a good explanation,"-because you've kept me alive for five days now. How long have you kept your other victims alive?"

I was surprised when he turned to face me. Instead of answering my question he was suddenly by my side. His hands hovered over me for a few seconds before he decided that he wasn't going to grab me and turned away.

"The last one was alive for less than a day before I killed him," The demon replied to my previous question, "I didn't even know his name."

"Oh," I muttered, my heart rate speeding up. That ment that I was actually the longest survivor. I bit my lip looking at the ground as we continued walking.
