--------A day after the nightmare-------

Siris and Radriar both woke up, feeling refreshed after yesterday. Siris had been piecing together what little information he had learned from Radriar when they woke up from the horrible nightmare yesterday. Radriar had been practicing the Aegis forms while Siris sat meditating.

Both had arose at the same time. But Radriar stopped in mid-sitting position. With a blade pointed straight at his throat. Siris looked at Radriar and gestured him to not move. Radriar complied by not daring to move an inch. Siris stared at the figure who was holding the razor sharp weapon. It had a sleek body frame, making it very flexible, agile, and fast. It had a mask covering its face, and it was wearing armor that was of the same style, with a gnarled, wooden staff on its back. Wait, a wooden staff? Siris suddenly smiled, finally realizing who the masked figure was.

"Isa?", Siris asked.

The masked figure turned her head to face Siris, blade still pointing at Radriar.

"Siris!", Isa yelled out in shock and relief.

She ran over to him and they embraced. Meanwhile, Radriar was starting to sit up, but was interrupted by the same blade pointing at his throat. Isa had broken the embrace with Siris quickly and was now eyeing over The God-King with utmost hostility and hatred.

"Stay where you are, God-King or I shall kill you where you lay.", Isa threatened.

Siris pushed Isa's blade to the side and stood between Isa and Radriar.

"Isa, put away your weapon.", Siris warned.

"But, Siris-", Isa started.

"DO IT NOW.", Siris said coldly.

Isa reluctantly sheathed her sword and stood there. Siris was the first to break the silence.

"Look, I know you both don't trust each other. Hell, even after five years, I don't even trust you", Siris said, looking at Radriar. "But that still doesn't mean we have to go at it when we have to prepare for war."

Radriar nodded first. Isa stood there for a while, taking in what she had just heard. Finally, she nodded.

After seeing her finally relax, he decided to change the subject of the topic. Looking at Isa, he spoke.

"So, you finally found a way to get us out of this prison?", Siris inquired.

"Indeed. It has taken me many years, many tries to infiltrate the stronghold, learn where the traps are, how to kill those monstrosities up above, to become strong enough to save you. I also had to travel around the world to find information regarding how to free you.", Isa replied.

Siris was speechless. He never knew that she would go all that way just to free him and possibly Radriar in the process.

"But you could have just left me down here, you could have forgotten me and saved yourself from the Deathless. Yet you stand here in front of me, opening what may be mine and Radriar's only way to escape.", Siris said.

Isa put a hand on his shoulder.

"The world above needs you. People need you. Villages need you. I need you.", Isa replied.

Siris nodded. Radriar cleared his throat, making sure his presence was known.

"Shouldn't we be going now?", Radriar said, pointing to the opening in the ceiling.

Siris and Isa agreed. All three forms stepped onto the levitating platform, and started to float upwards. Siris could not help but feel dread of what the world would look like above after his five years of absence.

He had never seen such a horrifying image in his life.
