"So what kinda thing are we dealin with here? Demon? Phantom? Zealot?" Kushina questioned as they sped along the rooftops, moving at speeds the normal eye would be hard pressed to follow. "I don't know. It could be a Poltergeist, given tha fact that it attacked a specific family only. I didn't botha to ask, since tha man's daughter is still in tha house." Kazeru replied, adjusting Kushina on his back before taking a left turn. Letting out a soft sigh, the green eyed woman laid her head on her brother's back. "So he just decided to leave instead of tryin to make sure his daughter was safe? Men." She stated with a roll of her eyes. "Oi. Not all of us are like that." Retorted Kazeru as they landed in front of a two story house with white paint and a navy blue door. A man was standing in front of the driveway, pacing nervously with an obvious expression of worry. Kazeru let Kushina down from his back, and the twins walked up to the man.
"Hey, where you the one that called us?" Kazeru asked the pacing man, startling him at the sudden deep voice. "Ah!" He cried out, turning around to the sound before calming down slightly upon seeing the two. "Y-yes...Light's Embrace?" The man asked, sighing in relief as Kazeru nodded in confirmation. "Yes. I'm Kazeru, and the lady beside me is Kushina, my sister. Is there any other information you have about the situation that you didn't say over the phone?" Asked the white haired man, getting a soft "no" in reply. Kazeru nodded once more, walking past him with Kushina following silently.
As the two young adults moved towards the door, a change overcame their bodies. Four pure white fox tails suddenly extended from the base of their spine, the appendages seeming to have no affect on their clothing. On top of their head there were vulpine ears, those white as well. They occasionally twitched, briefly adjusting to the new rush of sounds. Kushina's body gained a more voluptuous outline, her curves easily shown by her outfit. Kazeru's body didn't seem to have much differences other than a small increase in muscle. His clothes, however, saw a change. Instead of the simple t-shirt and jeans he was wearing, Kazeru is now covered in a royal white kimono with a red trim. The nervous man's eyes widened upon seeing the twin's transformation, stepping back in both surprise and fear. "Wha...what the hell are you?!" He questioned, receiving no answer before the twins entered the house through the door.
Kushina closed the door with a tail, her green eyes closed. A soft, almost unnoticeable hum sounds off from her body, Kushina's hair lifting slightly and waving around in a non-existent breeze. "Well, at least he wasn't lying..." She began, opening her eyes to look at Kazeru. "Something's here. Check the rooms for me? If you see anything, let me know." Immediately channeling her energy, Kushina began forming it into a barrier over the neighborhood as Kazeru dissappeared. While he blurred through the house checking the rooms, a large dome formed over Forest St. before flickering out of sight. "Kushina, you need to see this." Kazeru stated upon appearing in front of her. "It's...bad. Come upstairs, I'll have the door open for you." With that the taller sibling ran upstairs, turning left down the hall. Kushina soon followed after double checking her barrier, walking through the open door where her brother stood with a clenched fist.
And what she saw horrified her.
It was the daughter's room, Kushina didn't doubt that, but what the twenty year old woman saw was clearly out of place for any normal room. The entire back wall was bloody, almost as if it was a bad horror movie. The twins have seen blood before. One didn't do this sort of work an expect it to be G-rated. No, what bothered them so much was the small body on the wall. The little Jane Doe couldn't have been older than 8 at most. Her entire torso was ripped open, like something had done so with their bare hands. Intestines hung out, organs were either eaten or had bite marks, and her young face held a lasting image of unadulterated terror. Kushina's eyes teared up slightly upon seeing such a thing, her body trembling in both sadness and rage. Her reaction, though, was surprisingly more intense than Kazeru's. Still facing the girl's disfigured form, Kazeru's four tails twitched vigorously in unknown emotion.
