Kazeru slowly walked towards the frightened aberration, each step full of purpose as the flames on his limbs burned brightly. "Come on, attack me." He said, getting closer and closer as the mass launched five small spear-like projectiles towards its opponent. Each one moved at high speeds around the speed of a bullet.
To Kazeru however, they might as well have been crawling.
'These projectiles...seem slow for some reason...' Kazeru thought as he watched the spear-like objects get closer to his face and torso. With his eyes following them, five of Kazeru's tails sped into action. To the average eye they moved with incredible speed, blurring into action and smacking the projectiles back at the Abberation. The black spears melted back into the spirits body, causing it to screech in irritation.
"Ya know..." The male kitsunes voice came from behind the Aberration before the evil being was lit aflame by golden fire, a sudden banshee-like cry ripping from the beings mouth. Kazeru stared the screaming demon with a hard gaze, the flames that adorned his body flickering with an intense heat despite their calm appearance. The Aberration turned around, sweeping all seven of its arms in an attempt to send its opponent away as the fire wore down on its form. The action was futile, however, as the kitsune raised one of his tails. The single appendage grew in length, stretching to eight feet and halting the attack upon contact. "For some reason, my body feels a lot stronger. Faster." He continued after wrapping the white pure tail around the arms, holding them in a tight grip as the spirit struggled. "I like tha power, trust me I do. I feel more..lucid. More relaxed. Like I'm looking at everything in slow motion." With a hard jerk, Kazeru tore the Abberations arms off with a brief shower of blood.
The evil spirit yelled loudly in pain, the flames on its body continuing to cause pain. "You see though, I feel calm." The fox man said as he launched an uppercut that landed just below the burning demon's large maw, forcing it to shoot into the air with a pained sound. "Yet I'm so goddamn angry at ya!" He roared out, launching himself up. With a flaming arm, Kazeru threw a hard punch at its unprotected back that had the demon bending from the force of the attack. The Aberration rocketed forward to the white ground, its body colliding hard with the floor.
"It's because of ya that Kushina's dead!" Kazeru exclaimed as he fell towards the Aberration, his right leg raised. "So fuck ya!" Upon crashing his heel into the back of the creature, more flames erupt from the Aberrations body. It screeched in pain, thrashing wildly as the golden flames began to turn its large body to ash.
'Kaze...' Came a familiar voice in Kazeru's mind, the white haired man looking around to find the source. "K-kushina?" He asked in a low voice, hopping off the spirit's disintegrating body. "Where are ya?!" Hearing the sound of her laughter behind him, the kitsune turned around to see the last of the Aberration turn to ash and disperse. The empty white space they were in changed, returning to the bedroom where they previously were. The back wall was bare, the blood and body gone as if it never happened.
"So that's it, huh..." Kazeru muttered with a sigh. Chuckling bitterly, the fox man held up some of the long strands of hair he now owns. "Maybe I should get a haircut..."
A sudden chill travels down Kazeru's spine, the man looking around for the source. His amber eyes widened in surprise, slowly tearing up at the sight. "Kushina...?" He murmured. In front of him was his sister, looking as of she was never injured. Kazeru reached out to touch her, to confirm she was real, only for his hand to go right through her body with no resistance. It was only then he realized another thing about his sister:she wasn't standing, she was floating.
"Sorry Kaze, I probably shoulda told ya that I'm kind of dead.." Kushina stated sheepishly. Eyebrow twitching, Kazeru glared at his floating sister, tails swaying angrily behind him. "Ya think?! Why are ya even dead?! Shouldn't ya, I dunno, be inside of my body or somethin?!" Questioned the elder sibling, getting a smack to the head. "Shut up!" Kushina commanded, getting an annoyed "how come I can't hit you but you can hit me...?" from her brother. "I didn't tell ya because ya wouldn't have used tha technique. I was gonna die anyway, but now I'm bound to ya soul so I won't move on. Ya happy now?"
Kazeru sighed as he turned around, walking out of the little girl's room and down the stairs. "Not really, no. But, I don't really have a choice do I?" Sighing softly to herself, kushina floated after him. "Make sure tah hide ya ears and tails. Y'know the rule." Kushina's words garnered no response from her elder sibling, but the sudden disappearance of Kazeru's vulpine appendages proved he heard her.
