Prompt: Amy and Cheney choosing to take Moe as one of their own.
Lauren Cheney and Amy Rodriguez had been married for several years now and were very happy together.
Morgan Brian was a 20 year old called into uswnt camp and was somewhat happen but more scared. She hated the fact that everyone thought so highly of her when she didn't think so at all.
They both walked into the room Cheney and Moe were sharing to see her asleep in bed holding a stuffed turtle and sucking her thumb. She was napping like a little kid.
They both awwed and smiled at the girl. Cheney took a pic and smiled at it and kissed Amy quickly before the sat on Lauren's bed and cuddled watching the UVA student sleep. Cheney noticed nearby Moe's laptop and textbooks. She was taking 4 classes at the Moment and they were her hard classes. She was getting stressed and felt as if a nap was needed after a long day of studying. The two NWSL players knew she was tired so they let her sleep.
Later:
Cheney had Morgan in her lap at the end of a meeting and the girl had, had a sneezing fit before hand and had mumbled that she hadn't been also feeling the best because she didn't have any more vitamins and needed to go buy some. Amy took Morgan and let Cheney stand and gave her back and Moe snuggled into Cheney snoring softly. Dawn walked over and placed a hand on Moe's face, neck and back checking her temperature and gently said "she's not warm it must just be a nasty cold or allergies." They both nodded and went and laid Moe down in bed keeping an eye on her during the night. The midfielder was fine just stuffed up. She needed sleep more than anything and so she slept whenever she could.
Cheney was standing with her wife and they were talking in hushed voices.
Cheney told her wife "what if we took Moe in like adopted her sorta speak we adore her and so does Ryan. He loves Morgan. We do too so how about we take Moe in and see if we can take care of her?!" Amy took her wife's hands in her own and said calmly "Lauren relax calm down don't mess with your heart rate too much calm down let's talk babe." Lauren calmed down hearing her wife's words and relaxed and Amy told her "that's my girl now I agree maybe we should. So when Moe is feeling better we can talk to her about it okay?" Lauren nodded saying "okay Amy we can when she's feeling better." They went and laid down on Lauren's bed and cuddled.
Later on Moe had started sneezing in her sleep so Lauren went over and wiped Moe's face with a tissue and Moe calmed down rolling into Cheney's embrace and snored softly. A-Rod got on the other side and they held Moe in her sleep. Moe woke up finally and was coughing and sneezing. She was still sleepy and mumbled "mommy I don't feel good" they were in shock so Lauren replied "Moe talk to us what's wrong?" Moe replied "my face hurts I just don't feel good mama." They knew she was their kid now.
After Moe had gotten better they talked to her about it as gently as they could and learned that Moe had felt the same and so they were now constantly making sure she was studying and working hard and resting and having fun.
